Being put in stasis is just like sleeping. Sometimes you are aware of your surroundings but can't do anything, or you're just flat-out asleep.

You can't feel any change, no hunger or time, everything just stays still. I really wished it turned down my brain activity because I'm going to make myself go insane.

When I start feeling my fingers start to twitch I thought something was going wrong with the stasis capsule.

Starting to regain feeling all over my body, I can feel that I'm standing and no longer floating.

It still took me a while to open my eyes but with a sharp inhale I was able to open them.

Gasping for air I notice the containment door open.

With my vision getting clearer I say, "hey Stanley"

Keeping his distance he frowns and says with attitude, "it's Covenant leader Stanley to you, welcome back"

Rolling my eyes I step off the containment room and we stare at each other awkwardly.

"So...did something come up?" I ask breaking the silence and he sighs heavily.

He gestures for me to follow and I do. He leads me up a few floors and I can see that a few things are different.

Walking into a conference room Stanley says, "your lawyer will be here to represent you shortly"

And just like that, he leaves me alone.

A lawyer huh, must be my court date then.

Looking out the windows I can't see anything past the thick fog. They really don't want this place to be discovered.

Waiting around, bored out of my mind, Jemma walks in at the right time.

"Oh thank god you're here, wait your also a lawyer?" I question and she laughs.

"I'm a lot of things and I brought a friend," she says and looks over at the door and Roselyn walks in.

Looking at her confused she says, "hello Jordan, how are you?"

"Fine I guess, tell me, how long was I in stasis?" I ask and they look at each other.

"You've been uh, in stasis for three months," Jemma says with a calm tone but I choke on the news.

"Three months?! So then it's March, what did I miss out on?" I say with concern and hope that nothing bad happened to anyone I care about.

Jemma walks off to the side to get me some water and Roselyn sighs.

"You haven't missed much, we set up a different witch fraction, the guardian mercenary, they helped us decrease the numbers of Max's army but his whereabouts are still unknown," she says taking a seat across from me.

"What about my friends and family, did anything happen to them," I say with concern and she reaches for my hand.

"No, they're all perfectly okay...except for Adam, after a few days of putting you in stasis he disappeared, and no one has seen him since," she says squeezing my hand for comfort.

Pulling my hand away I say, "if you cared about where he is then you were going to take action against him, I say he was right to leave"

I tried to hide the fact that I'm happy he eluded the Covenant and listened to me.

"We weren't going to harm him, I wouldn't allow it but he is a person from another realm, people are afraid and we needed him in custody," she says sitting up straight.

"But you took me, the deal was you take me and leave them alone, were you lying to me?" I say staring at her and she shakes her head.

"As much as you want to catch up, you have a trail in an hour, I have to get you prepared," Jemma says coming back and handing me water.
