When I wake up I feel even sorer than I have ever felt.
When I open my eyes I'm facing the window and I lay there for a while.
Feeling the sun on my face and looking at the trees rustling in the wind.
I turn my body to face the ceiling before doing anything else.
After getting bored of the plain ceiling I plant my hands on the bed to sit up.
I wince in pain from putting pressure on my arm.
Shuffling my way up I look at my right arm and see that I have a cast on it.
"Your awake and you notice your stress fracture," Bruno says walking in and showing off his white coat.
"Stress fracture? And these?" I ask showing my bandaged arms.
"We examined you while you were asleep, you passed out as soon as you got into the bed, you overused your body and now you're facing the consequences," he says and I give him the look to explain.
"You haven't given yourself time to recover from the constant fighting, you're always using your right arm so when you came back it finally snapped, as for those patches all over your body, you never activated a healing spell so we had to treat them" he continues and I look all over my body.
The only pesky thing about healing spells is that they have to be used almost instantly when injured, otherwise we have to treat them the old-fashioned way.
"I see, well I was kind of occupied with getting kidnapped and escaping along with the kids so I didn't have the time nor did I feel any of this," I say while he takes a look at my chart.
"Look I'm not saying you shouldn't have fought back, I'm glad you did but now you've reached your limit, we placed a healing spell for you, those wounds will heal later in the evening, as for your fracture, I estimate two days," he says and I nod in understanding.
He looks at me confused as if I would fight him in my recovery time. I know I can be an ass but I'm not a douche.
"I'm glad you understand... remember it's only for two days, max if you don't use your arm," he says.
"We do have to test that you are okay in every factor so here are some clothes and when your ready meet me in the training area," he continues as he puts the clothes down and I stop him from leaving.
He looks at me questionably and I hold up my arm.
"You going to take my IV out?" I say jokingly and he apologizes.
As he's taking the IV out I start questioning his attitude.
Once he's done he walks out and leaves me alone.
I stare at the clothes for a while before deciding to get up and change.
I look at myself in the mirror after I changed and look at every injured part of myself.
I guess my adrenaline was so high that I didn't feel anything, I didn't think I actually got hurt. Was pretty damn good at getting out before anything happened.
Well, it's in the past and I'm happy to be back.
When I walk out I notice that nobody was on the floor.
I head over to the training area, passing through the walkway in the middle.
Everyone starts clapping when I get to the walkway.
Nick walks over to me and smiles.
"What are they clapping for?" I ask and he chuckles.
"For you, you brought home their kids," he says and I look back at everyone.
