I feel like I'm going to pass out at any moment.
My body is clearly overworking itself and the fact that we have two issues to deal with doesn't help.
Right now we know that the divergent witches planned to release those things into the world which they succeeded in but then what, I mean those things ran away and the witches that attacked are now gone.
Something doesn't add up.
After Bruno cleared me and Adam, we checked out the explosion site.
Walking through the rubble I lose confidence that there's going to be anything we can use to get some light on the situation.
The site is how you'd expect it to be, nothing is left and singed on the floor.
I try to analyze the burned area with magic to see if there's anything left and luckily enough there's something.
It's small but right now anything counts.
"Hey, Adam can you bring me a test tube?" I ask and he goes to get one.
Carefully picking up the small strand of magic energy, when Adam comes back with the tube I place it in and warp it to the lab to look at it later.
"What are we going to do about the entrance?" he asks and I take in every detail of everything.
I command all the rubble to float and from what I can remember from what the entrance looked like, I started moving the pieces to restore it to how it was.
It takes a while to put it all together but after a few minutes, it looks as good as new.
I wipe my forehead to get rid of the sweat and I start to get a little lightheaded.
I've never felt more exhausted in my life but I can't back down now, not until we finish this.
I do need to slip away to recover for a bit on my own.
I ask Adam to help Bruno and when he walks away I find a place to isolate myself.
Walking in a hallway, I replay the whole situation in my head over and over again.
I use the walls to help me walk as I lose my balance.
I lean against the wall and my breathing starts picking up.
I don't think I can keep going, I let everyone down and allowed the Terren to be invaded and attacked.
As it gets harder to breathe I can feel someone getting closer.
"Oh my god Jordan, breathe, just take deep breathes," Adam says kneeling next to me.
I nod and try to take in deep breaths. It helps for the most part but I'm still having trouble breathing.
He gets a chair and tells me to sit on it with my head between my legs.
Doing as he says I can feel my heart rate slow down with my breathing.
"Thanks, I'm good," I say blinking at the ceiling.
"Yeah of course, what happened?" He asks and I look at him with embarrassment.
"I'm scared, I don't know what to do and I'm just in the center of it all and I'm just getting overwhelmed," I say avoiding eye contact with him.
"Well no one has gone through what your experiencing, people don't get targeted on a daily basis but why didn't you tell us, you looked okay a few minutes ago," he says with caution.
"That's why I came here, if anyone saw me be weak then they'll never look at me the same," I say getting up.
Looking at me with concern he says, "maybe you just need to trust us and yourself, anyone can be weak and still be a leader"
