Got to admit, I'm not one for weddings but I'm actually excited for this one.

Granted it's my moms' but after everything that happened yesterday, I feel better, relieved even and now I can share that with everyone.

Although the suit choice is really bothering me. It makes me look like I have a block for a body.

Pulling out my phone I text Rorie, "hey Rorie I was wondering if you could adjust my suit for my mom's wedding later?"

Waiting for them to respond I head to the bathroom to brush my teeth.

While brushing I hear my phone vibrate from Rorie's response.

"Yeah, of course, I actually don't have any clients at the moment so you can come in if you have time" they send with a smiling emoji.

I send a thumbs up and finish brushing.

Going back to my room I get changed and zip up the suit in its bag.

Hanging it over my shoulder and walking out and notice Adam passed out on the couch.

He must've been awake earlier cause he was a bowl of cereal on the coffee table.

I pick up and wash the bowl and grab a blanket to cover him.

Picking the suit bag back up I head out the door and out of the building.

I zone out for a while and when I snap back I find myself already at the tailor shop.

Walking in Rorie runs up and pulls me in for a hug.

"God it's like I haven't seen you for years," they say and I chuckle.

"It hasn't been that long," I say as they pull away.

"Doesn't matter, you excited about the wedding?" They ask as they take the bag from my hands and take out the suit.

"Yeesh, I see why you wanted it fixed," they say looking at the suit like it's horrific. Can't say I blame them.

I sit on the counter as they get their workstation prepared.

"Yeah, of course, I'm happy she's getting the happiness she deserves," I say watching them work.

"I sense a but," they say keeping their focus.

I laugh softly before saying, "I've already talked about it but I can't help feeling like I'm being left behind, everyone around me is starting to find their happy ending and I just..."

I trace circles on the wooden counter and continue, "I just want to know when I'll have mine"

They stop the sowing machine and walk towards me.

Getting closer they say, "you just have to be patient, you'll get yours don't worry, and who knows it might even be in front of you, and you're just blind"

We both laugh at their remarks and they go back to their workstation.

After a few more minutes they lift the new and improved suit.

"There, it's well fitted to you and I added a few things to make it more you, a solid color doesn't work well with you," they say putting it in the bag and handing it to me.

"Thanks?" I say with both confusion and a bit of laughter.

Hoping off the counter I lose my balance for a moment.

"Hey, you okay?" They ask and I nod.

"Yeah, I guess I'm just starving," I say and they look at me with concern.
