I'm thankful I got scolded yesterday cause I rather go through that than a shit show like the last few days.
I got to sleep in late which I realized I haven't done in ages and it feels so good.
Yeah, I basically have a parole officer that I have to check in with but I don't have a specific time so I get to do whatever I want.
I really need to stop saying that, I literally jinx myself every time.
I head to the bathroom to do my morning routine and back into my room to organize.
Fixing my bed because I'm bored and to be honest, haven't had time to do it.
Grabbing my clothes and magically lifting Adam's clothes into the laundry hamper to do laundry.
Putting them in the washer I also do a bit of cleaning.
Cleaning...I only do that when I'm extremely bored and I'm almost never bored because...oh my god Adam isn't here.
I can't believe I forgot about him, no wonder it was so quiet.
I pull out my phone to text him but I got no response, not even a read. Hmm, whatever, he's out and I get to...do...I don't know what I want to do.
I guess I've been so busy I haven't had time to think about plans if I wasn't busy, I don't even have a bucket list.
Okay, I'm being dramatic. This free time, like all the others, will probably last a couple of hours, not months.
I could make food, yeah let's do that.
Let's see what we have in the fridge.
Damn, I need to go grocery shopping, I guess that's what I'm doing today.
I make a list of what I need to buy and I hear the washer finish and move the clothes to the dryer.
Watching a few Netflix shows to pass the time, the clothes are finally done and I fold mine and put them in my drawer.
I leave Adam's clothes in the laundry hamper outside his room so he can put them away when he comes back.
Grabbing my keys and my list, I open the door and immediately plug my nose at the stench of weed as someone stands in front of me.
"Can I help you?" I ask looking at the stranger up and down and he does the same to me.
"Oh hey I'm your neighbor, we haven't met yet," he says and he laughs.
Yeah, I can see why I haven't met them before.
"Just wanted to come and say hi, ha I said high" he laughs.
Holy shit, he's stoned and right in front of me at that.
"Tell you what, which apartment is yours and I'll walk you there," I say and he nods.
"Sorry if we've been loud, we like to get our hits late at night and the other kind if you know what I mean," he says slurring his words and elbowing me.
"I haven't heard- oh you know what, I forgot I put a soundproofing spell around my apartment so you don't have to worry about that," I say jokingly.
Yeah, I'm not worried, he'll forget it in a couple of hours, and hopefully me in general.
Once we got to his door I knock and wait with him.
"Oh my go-" I stop myself from saying anything else as another stoned person opens the door.
I kind of just shoved the guy in and immediately leave before the rest of them start trying to talk to me.
Getting outside I take huge deep breaths and sit on the stairs for a few seconds.
