Chapter 18

Vecna stared at me in disbelief as he chuckled to himself.
Y/n: I'm not joking, I want to work with you.
Vecna: Do you know who I am?
Y/n: They call you vecna.
Vecna: We knew each other before, Don't you remember.
Y/n: Well your kind of hard to recognize now.
Vecna held out his arm and showed me the tattoo he had.
Y/n: 001.
Vecna: I was the one who told you about your powers when you fainted.
Y/n: What happened to you?
Vecna: 011 banished me to this place but she made me stronger.
I stared at him for a minute as I tried to see any resemblance of a human but I couldn't see who he used to be.
Y/n: So now your just this monster?
Vecna: I'm stronger.
Y/n: And scarier.
Vecna: I will allow you to work by my side but only because I now how strong you are.
Y/n: Great, I wish to learn a lot from you.
Vecna: Your polite and respectful that makes a great student.
Y/n: Let's rule this world together.

Eddie's pov:
Me and the others searched the forest for hours before we finally found the gate.
Steve: Found it!
We all ran to him and seen the gate, it was the same as the other one just not in the water.
Steve: Before we go in there we need a plan.
Nancy: We need to find Dustin and Max.
Eddie: Dustin will be devastated that y/n didn't make it through the gate.
Steve: We will get her back Eddie, I know we will.
I gave Steve a weak smile as we walked to Dustin's house.

When we finally arrived I started knocking on his door to see Max open it.
Eddie: Hey red, where is Dustin?
Max: In his room.
We walked into the house and started to head to Dustin's room which is right across from y/n's I looked over to her room and went in without a second thought. I fell to my knees as I picked up her shirt and smelled her sweet sent from all over the room. Tears started streaming down my face as I thought about how I didn't even get to tell her I loved her to. I shouldn't have even stood in front of that stupid gate. I just wanted y/n back. I curled up in a ball with her shirt in my hands as I cried.

Y/n's pov:
Vecna: Now that we work together, this town is now yours.
Y/n: You mean I know control the upside down?
Vecna: Yes, You do.
Y/n: That's so cool!
Vecna actually laughed.
Vecna: I never thought I would see someone so excited about that.
Y/n: Well weren't you at first?
Vecna: Yeah, I was.
Y/n: This whole town is a copy of Hawkins with no people so you can go anywhere you want without getting in trouble.
Vecna: I guess that's one way to think about it.
Y/n: I am genuinely excited about this.
Vecna: I can tell.
Vecna wasn't as scary now but that dosent change my plan.
Vecna: You are taking after me child, soon we will rule this world together and everyone will look up to us.
That sounded nice but this was not the right way to do this, I just had to play along until I could find the right time to kill him.
Y/n: Can I get into peoples heads like you can?
Vecna: Yes, you can.
Y/n: How?
Vecna: Close you eyes and focus on who you want to see and you will know how to go from there.
Y/n: Okay, I will try.
I sat down on the floor and concentrated on Dustin. I then found myself in a dark void with water on the floor. I kept walking until I seen Dustin with Steve and the others. I felt relieved knowing that they made it out alive. I looked around some more and seen Eddie in my room. He was curled up in a ball on the floor holding one of my shirts up to his face.
Y/n: I'm so sorry Eddie.
I went up to hug him but just fell through him.
Y/n: Oh come on!
I just wanted to tell him I was okay, I went back to Dustin and started to use my power even further to get into his head. I soon made it and seen him alone in his room. He loved very confused and he started to yell out for Steve or Nancy.
Y/n: Dustin!
Dustin turned around and seen me. He ran up to me and hugged me.
Y/n: I missed you dusty bun!
Dustin: I missed you to!
I could tell Dustin was crying but he tried to hide it.
Dustin: They told me you didn't make it.
Y/n: I didn't make it through the gate but I am okay.
Dustin: Eddie will be so happy to hear that but we need to get you out of there!
Y/n: I have a plan but I can't tell you right now, just know that I am okay and I love you.
Dustin: Please don't leave me.
Y/n: I'm sorry Dustin I have to or he will get suspicious.
Dustin: Who?
Y/n: Please tell Eddie I love him and I'm okay.
Dustin: I love you y/n!
He hugged me again and then I went back to reality. I opened my eyes and seen vecna again.
Vecna: I assumed you successfully did it.
Y/n: I did, thank you.

Dustin's pov:
I hugged y/n again and then I was in my room again with the others in my face.
Steve: Are you okay?
Nancy: What happened?
Dustin: It was y/n.
As soon as I said that Eddie came running into the room.
Eddie: Y/n?
Dustin: She came to me like vecna goes to his victims.
Steve: She can do that?
Dustin: Apparently, she told me she was okay and that she had a plan.
Eddie: What is it?
Dustin: She told me she couldn't say but she said something that kind of worried me.
Nancy: What?
Dustin: She told me she had to leave or he would get suspicious.
Nancy: Who?
Dustin: I'm assuming vecna.
Eddie: Did she say anything about me?
Dustin: She said she loved you and she told me to tell you she was okay.
Tears started to form in Eddie's eyes but he tried to hold them back.
Dustin: We have to help her, I don't know how long she can stay in there before he kills her.
Robin: We need to get weapons and stuff.
Eddie: I know a place outside of town with a whole bunch of cool weapons.
Dustin: Of course you do.
Eddie: What are y'all waiting for lets go!
