Chapter 14

I stayed up all night not being able to sleep. I cuddled with Eddie and thought about everything that had been happening. Then I started hearing Eddie groaning and talking in his sleep.
Eddie: Y/n...
I giggled as Eddie started hugging me tighter and laughed in his sleep which was absolutely adorable.
Eddie: Your so cute...
I started playing with his hair and making tiny braids everywhere.

Soon it was 10 o'clock and I was still wide awake. I felt Eddie start to wake up as he lifted his head to look at me.
Eddie: Good morning princess.
He said in a yawn as he laid his head back down on my chest.
Eddie: How did you sleep?
Y/n: I didn't sleep any.
Eddie: You stayed awake all night?
Y/n: Yeah, I did.
Eddie: Princess you need to sleep.
Y/n: I know but I just couldn't.
Eddie: Do you want to lay on me? Maybe that will help you.
Y/n: I can try.
Eddie got up and stood beside the bed as he waited for me to get up. When I did get up he laid down on the bed opened his arms for me to snuggle up to him. I laid on top of him and gave him a peck on the lips before I laid my head on his chest. I studied the sound his body made and felt him playing with my hair. I slowly drifted to sleep as I followed the sound of his heartbeat.

I woke up a few hours later in the same position with Eddie just looking at me smiling.
Eddie: Do you feel better?
Y/n: Yes, actually I do.
Eddie: Good.
Eddie started to stroke my head as he held me close to him.
Eddie: Do you want a bowl of cereal for breakfast?
I giggled at him and looked back up into his eyes.
Y/n: Sure.
I got up and off of Eddie. I stood beside the bed as I watched him get up as well. Eddie kissed my forehead and went into the kitchen to get the bowls of cereal. I went into the bathroom to brush my teeth and my hair. I put my hair in a low messy bun and went into the kitchen.
Eddie: Breakfast is ready.
Eddie gave me the bowl of cereal and we went to eat at the little dinning table. I ate the cereal pretty fast since I was really hungry.
Eddie: Woah, Your already done?
Y/n: I was hungry.
Eddie laughed at me as he started to shove his food in his mouth. I grabbed our bowls and washed them in the sock as Eddie went to the bathroom to get ready for the day.
Eddie: Y/N!
Uh oh. I walked into the bathroom to see Eddie trying to take out all the little braids I made in his hair.
Eddie: How many of these did you make?
Y/n: I got bored.
Eddie: Can you help me.
I giggled at him and started to help him take the braids out. After a few minutes we finally got them out.
Eddie: Finally!
I started laughing at him again as I kissed his cheek. Eddie looked down at me and put his hands on my face before leaning down to kiss me. I wrapped my arms around his neck and started kissing him back. I giggled in the kiss and Eddie started giggling in the kiss as well before pulling away.
Eddie: What's so funny?
Y/n: Nothing, I'm just happy.
Eddie smiled and picked me up in a hug as he twirled me around.
Eddie: Your so adorable!
Y/n: You are to!
Eddie put me down and we just laughed at each other before walking into the living room. We sat on the couch together and Eddie turned on the tv. Eddie wrapped his arm around me and we watched the news together. The news showed that two high school students died yesterday and the same way but in different places.
Y/n: That's strange.
One of them was Nancy's friend Fred and the other was a kid on the basketball team, Patrick. The news said that their bones were snapped in half and their eyes were missing.
Y/n: Do you think that is the same thing that got me?
Eddie: A human couldn't possibly do that.
Y/n: So it's happening to more people.
I got up and went to call Dustin.
Eddie: Who are you calling?
Y/n: Dustin.
I dialed the home phone and waited for Dustin to pick up.
Dustin: Hello?
Y/n: Hey dusty bun, did you see the news?
Dustin: Oh hey y/n, I didn't what's on it?
Y/n: Two students from our school died the same way at different places but at kind of the same times.
Dustin: Okay?
Y/n: Their body's were found with their bones snapped in the opposite direction and their eyes were missing.
Dustin: What about it?
Y/n: Do you think that maybe the thing that happened to me also happened to them?
Dustin: Umm, maybe.
Y/n: What if it happens to me again but this time I can't get away and I die like that.
Dustin: Y/n, Stop worrying, we can meet up later and figure it all out.
Y/n: Okay, See you later Dustin.
Dustin: Meet me at family video at 4.
Y/n: K, Bye.
Dustin: Bye.
I hung up the phone and looked back at Eddie who had wide eyes.
Y/n: What?
Eddie: I won't let that thing kill you y/n, I promise.
Y/n: Oh, You heard that?
Eddie: Princess I didn't even think about that, We need to stop it before it has a chance of getting you again.
Y/n: I am going to meet up with Dustin at 4 to talk about that.
Eddie: Im coming with you.
Y/n: Okay love.
I walked up to Eddie and grabbed his hands.
Y/n: I love you Eddie.
Eddie let go of my hands and wrapped his arms around me.
Eddie: I love you to princess.
