Summary: YangYang has a hybrid living with him that no one knows about. Ten, his kitty, hates being alone and always wants to be with YangYang. But the world is a cruel place, and YangYang will do anything to keep Ten safe.

Ten sat patiently on the couch, waiting for YangYang to come home from practice. YangYang was a popular KPOP idol and Ten knew how busy YangYang tended to be. Sitting on the couch, staring at the door, Ten noticed it was getting dark outside as the moon now lit up the room.

Suddenly the door opened, revealing a tired, sweaty YangYang as Ten jumped up from the couch, walking excitedly to him. YangYang sighed softly as Ten nuzzled himself in YangYangs body, as a loud purr erupted from the hybrids throat.

"I missed you" Ten whispered softly while invading YangYangs personal space to the max.

YangYang knew deep down that Ten was very clingy, as that's how hybrids are, but sometimes he wished that Ten could back up. Ten began to groom YangYang like a little kitten, something Ten also does that resembles his cat like personality.

YangYang sighed while moving away, gently moving Ten to the side.

"Ten please" he whispered, "Not right now okay. I'm not in the mood" he scoffed before moving out of the kitchen and into the bedroom.

Ten stood still. Absolutely still. He heard the door shut and the shower turn on as he sighed, going to sit back on the couch. Ten wanted to cry, but he didn't let himself.

Ten was going crazy in the house. He was mainly by himself 12 hours a day, and he wasn't allowed to leave because he could get harmed. Yes, Ten could wear a beanie to cover his ears, but it was another story trying to cover his long, black tail. Trench coats could work for covering his tail, but Ten would always get too overheated unless it was the winter time.

After a while, Ten heard the shower turn off as he waits a bit before going to see if YangYang was now okay. Walking slowly into their shared bedroom, Ten saw that the bathroom door was wide open. YangYang was standing there with grey sweats on, no shirt, while drying his wet hair.

Ten couldn't help but smile as a soft purr left his throat as YangYang looked over to see him.

"Ten" YangYang whispered under his breath before gently shoving the hybrid out of the bathroom.

Going to shut the door on Tens face, YangYang accidentally closed it on Tens tail causing Ten to hiss in pain. YangYang immediately opened the door in shock and worry, apologizing immediately to Ten as he tried reaching out to hold him. Out of instinct from living in the streets whenever he got hurt, Ten gently batted YangYangs hands away like an angry kitten before he ran away to hide.

YangYang stood in the bathroom as he sighed. He felt guilty for brushing Ten away when he got back home, knowing Ten was lonely being home alone all day. Now, he felt even worse knowing he just hurt him.

Putting on a white tee, YangYang headed downstairs to go and search for Ten. YangYang managed to find him pretty quickly as Ten sat on the sofa, grooming his tail and his ears.

"Tennie" YangYang spoke softly as Ten stopped grooming himself, looking up at YangYang.

"Come here" YangYang cooed as Ten got up hesitantly, slowly making his way to YangYang.

YangYang took Tens hand gently while pulling him into his chest as Ten nuzzled into him.

"I'm sorry I hurt your tail" YangYang whispered softly while placing a small kiss on his cheek.
Ten sniffled a little "I'm sorry I batted your hands away. I-I'm a bad p-pet" he whimpered.

YangYang frowned while making Ten look at him "Hey" he spoke gently, "You're not a pet. You're my boyfriend."

"And I'm sorry I brushed you off when I got back home. I know how lonely you are here" YangYang said while Ten began grooming him again; but this time YangYang didn't complain.

Ten stopped his actions as he pulled away, "I wish I had more freedom like you. I get lonely here by myself. Sometimes I can't help but think you could be happier with someone else. Someone you can show the world to."

YangYang tried to stop him from talking, but Ten didn't let him.

"You can't take me on dates, introduce me to your friends or family, take pictures with me and post them on Instagram" Ten whispered.

YangYang cupped Tens face into his hands, forcing Ten to look up at him.

"I don't care about those things, and don't you ever say that I deserve someone else. All I want is you. Believe me, I'll find a way to make this work, even if it takes my entire lifetime. I'm not leaving your side."

Ten nuzzled his face into YangYangs neck to hide his tears as YangYang held him. Ten sniffled softly while purring in his ear.

"Can we go to bed now?" Ten whispered softly, just wanting to cuddle up with YangYang.

YangYang nodded while humming a small yes of approval as Ten smiled up at him.

"You're the best owner ever" Ten whispered while going to head into the bedroom.

YangYang sighed while shaking his head, "Ten. For the hundredth time I'm your boyfriend, not your owner."

Ten giggles nervously while bolting in the bedroom as YangYang rolled his eyes, following his boyfriend close behind.
