Puppy Pt 2: Chan x Seungmin (SKZ)

Summary: A small glimpse of the twos relationships after they get together as Chan claims Seungmin as his.

Chan started up the music as the members started dancing once more as they practiced the dances to their new songs.

All of them were tired from the long day they had, and were trying their best to finish this last song. However, Seungmin was feeling quite dizzy as sparkles clouded his vision, yet he maintained his balance and put on a show.

Chan was too focused on watching Changbin as he made some mistakes earlier, that he didn't even bother to check on his mate or the other members.

Just then Seungmin stumbled a bit as he got everyone's attention, but he stood back up and apologized quickly as Chan sighed softly, doing his best to control his anger and emotions.

"Come on Seungmin" he sighed while rubbing his temples, "You're better than this. Do it again" he said as he restarted the music.

Seungmin pushed away what he was feeling and swallowed the lump in his throat as he shook out his hands. Yet his breathing was speeding up, he was feeling chilly, felt like throwing up, and could barely see anything.

Chan had his back turned from the members until suddenly he heard a soft thud and the members all gasp as Chan whipped around. Hyunjin and Minho were already trying to sit Seungmin up as Chan felt his soul leave his body as he saw his mate passed out on the floor.

Pushing the other members aside, he made his way towards Seungmin as Seungmin was slowly regaining his consciousness.

Chan gently took Seungmin into his arms as Seungmin began looking around and noticed he was in his lovers embrace. Seungmin's entire body was shaking from dehydration, exhaustion, and fear as Chan rubbed his hands up and down Seungmin's arms.

"It's okay," Chan cooed as he buried his face into Seungmin's neck, beginning to leave small kisses, "Im right here" he finished as Seungmin did his best to regain his breathing.

Jisung was quick to get Seungmin a water bottle as he handed it to Seungmin. Seungmin grabbed the water, but was too weak to hold it or open it as his hands were still shaking violently as Chan felt a wave of fear wash over him.

Chan gently took the water bottle as he opened it, grabbing the back of Seungmin's head softly as he brought the water to Seungmin's lips, watching his boyfriend take small sips.

Seungmin coughed a bit as some of the water just ran down his chin as he struggled to get the water down as Chan felt tears brim his eyes, watching his boyfriend struggle and seeing him in this state.

The other members stayed quiet as they were all panicking as neither Chan or Seungmin said a word. Seungmin closed his eyes and leaned his head on Chan's shoulder as Chan watched his every move.

"Alright" Chan finally spoke up to the other members in a stern, assertive tone as he held onto his boyfriend.

"Practice is done for today. I'm taking Seungmin to the hospital. Y'all head back to the dorms, I'll keep you updated" Chan finished as they all nodded, helping Chan get Seungmin into the car.

At the hospital, Seungmin laid in bed with an IV drip as he slept soundly, Chan never once closing his eyes as he watched his mate contently.

The doctor entered the room as Chan looked at him with curiosity as the doctor gently lead Chan out of the room.

"Seungmin is severely dehydrated and overworked" he started as Chan bit the inside of his cheeks as he nodded, guilt rushing through him that he didn't notice his boyfriends health decline.

"Also, his rut is coming, which is making him a bit more weak" the doctor finished with a small smile, "But he'll be okay. Don't worry."

Chan nodded while doing a slight bow as the doctor patted his back.

Now leaving the hospital that night, Chan took Seungmin to the store to get a few snacks as a reward, and to ease Seungmin's troubled mind.

"I'll be right back" Chan cooed into Seungmin's ear as he slipped to the drink isle, looking for drinks with electrolytes as Seungmin continued looking at the snacks.

After Chan left, Seungmin felt someone looking at him as he gulped, looking up to spot another wolf hybrid looking at him from afar with a small smirk plastered on his face.

Taking a deep breath, Seungmin gave him a tiny smile before looking away and adverting his eyes back on the snacks in-front of him. He could smell the wolf getting closer as his heart rate started speeding up, praying Chan would come back quickly.

Heading back towards Seungmin, Chan spotted another wolf eyeing his mate up and down as Chan's eyes went dark, jealously cursing through his veins. But, he had to remain calm as Seungmin already had a hard day and he didn't wanna add to the stress.

Taking a deep breath, Chan started walking however he noticed Seungmin turn his neck a little, showing the other wolf he was already marked and tamed. Chan felt his heart began racing and his veins fill with pride as he hid his smile as he walked to Seungmin.

Wrapping his arms around his waist, he buried his face into his neck as he kissed the mark gently as he whispered, "Are you ready puppy?"

He could felt the heat off Seungmin's body as he watched his mate nod his head yes as Chan smiled before taking Seungmin's hand into his, leading him to the check out.

Back home, laying in bed, Seungmin laid asleep as he was curled up against Chan's chest, his soft gentle breathing bringing Chan at ease.

Chan grazed his finger over the small bruise on Seungmin's wrist from the IV as he frowned, guilt rushing through him again as he fought back tears. Bringing Seungmin's wrist up to his lips, he kissed the bruise gently before he spoke.

"I'm sorry I didn't notice your health or pain" he whispered as a few tears ran down his cheeks.

Seungmin whimpered a little in his sleep as he nuzzled himself closer to Chan, sensing that Chan was feeling sad as Chan smiled painfully as a small laugh left his throat.

"God" Chan choked out, "I love you" he whispered before covering them even more with the covers, watching Seungmin sleep that entire night.
