Chan never thought he would be here. Sitting across from a man he was deathly in love with. A man he was suppose to kill, months ago.

Yet he couldn't do it then. And he still can't do it now.

Especially now that he found his mate, Felix.

Chan was hired by a man, Kai, to kill Felix. Felix was supposedly Kai's ex-boyfriends little brother. Kai's ex-boyfriend broke his heart, by killing his mother for not paying her debts, therefore Kai wanted to get revenge.

And by revenge, he would kill his ex-boyfriends only family he had left. His little brother, Felix.

However, the moment Chan laid eyes on Felix, he knew this job would be too hard for him. Felix was incredibly small, innocent, kind, and so beautiful in Chan's eyes.

The way Felix smiled at him when they first met, offering him a flower he picked in the park, made Chan stop dead in his tracks.

How on earth was Chan suppose to kill someone like him?

Now, seven months later, Chan still couldn't do it.

"Chan" Felix spoke softly, his hand reaching out across the table to lay on top of his.

"Are you okay?" Felix asked softly, his voice smooth and soft as Chan nodded.

"Yes, I'm fine" Chan told him, watching Felix smile at him as he nodded.

The atmosphere was beautiful around them. Chan took Felix to a beautiful restaurant, a restaurant Felix always wanted to go to. For his last night. Only if Chan could do it.

As Chan planned on killing him that night, yet he knew he wouldn't be able to. Kai told Chan if he didn't kill him by tonight, he would hire someone else to do it. And just that thought made Chan want to die.

"I have something for you" Felix told him, a bright smile laced across his face as he placed a small box on the table, pushing in towards Chan.

Chan looked at him, watching as Felix was fiddling with his fingers, a nervous smile plastered on his face as his body was trembling slightly.

"Go on. Open it" Felix urged as Chan nodded, his hands slowly opening the box, his heart immediately stopping.

Inside the box was a small ultrasound picture, and it didn't take long for Chan to piece the picture together. This was his baby. His and Felix baby.

His own flesh and blood.

Their own flesh and blood, that they made together.

Chan could breathe. Couldn't speak. It felt like his whole world stopped as he hesitantly picked up the ultrasound picture, looking at the small baby that was barely a bean.

"That's our baby Chan" Felix whispered as he pointed to the baby on the picture, his eyes glistening with tears.

"I'm about 11 weeks" Felix told him, as Chan could only nod, a lump forming in his throat as he couldn't hold back his tears anymore.

He couldn't do this. Fuck. He never could.

He couldn't even imagine killing Felix. But killing their baby, their unborn baby. That's something Chan couldn't even fathom.
