Bus Stop: Johnny x Ten (NCT)

Summary: Ten calls Johnny after their son, Joowon, never got off at his bus stop after school.

Ten stood at the bus stop, waiting for his and Johnny's five year old son, Joowon, to get home from school. It was Joowon's first year at school as a kindergartener, and Ten was extremely nervous to send their little boy off each day.

Ten and Johnny did not expect to have a kid so soon, however Joowon was their pride and joy, and they wouldn't have it any other way. Of course they get a few looks as they both appear young, but they did their best to raise their little boy.

Standing at the bus stop, Ten saw the bus approaching as a smile spread across his face, eager to see his little boy who he missed during the day. The bus came to a stop as the doors opened, the little kids coming out one by one. However, the doors closed shut, and Ten panicked.

He looked around once more for Joowon just to be sure, but Ten was positive that his son did not get off this bus. Desperate to stop the bus, Ten attempted to stop the bus from leaving, banging on the door as he felt tears well up in his eyes; yet the bus took off.

Other parents looked at Ten as they tried helping him calm down, but it was no use. Ten was freaking out as he felt like he couldn't breathe,

His hands were shaking, he could barely get any words out, he was crying uncontrollably, and he felt as if he was going to be sick.

Grabbing his phone from his pocket, he immediately called the school to ask about Joowon, however the school said Joowon got on the bus and was dropped off at his home.

However, Joowon was not at home. Hanging up, Ten called Johnny right after with shaky hands as he held the phone up to his ear.

Johnny was in the studio as his phone rang in his pocket, showing that the caller ID was Ten. Feeling a bit confused, as normally Ten would text Johnny when Joowon arrived home, Johnny knew something must be up.

Picking up the phone, he was immediately met with harsh breathing from Ten as he could hear Ten choking over his sobs from the other end.

"J-J-Joowon" Ten stuttered out, still struggling to catch his breath as Johnny indicated for the other members in the studio to quiet down.

"Take a deep breath baby and tell me what's wrong" Johnny spoke softly, even though he was also slightly panicking as he never heard Ten cry like this before.

"Joowon didn't get off the bus" Ten finally managed the say as Johnny felt his stomach drop, closing his eyes as he fought back tears, yet he had to try and stay calm for Ten.

"Did you call the school?" Johnny asked him as Ten responded.

"I-I did, a-and they said he got on the bus a-and was dropped off at h-home" Ten choked out as he continued crying, other parents still staying with him, doing their best to comfort him as Johnny heard them from the other line.

Johnny swallowed the lump in his throat as he spoke to Ten, his voice also beginning to shake, "Stay right there okay? I'll be there soon" he assured Ten as Ten could only hum in approval at this point.

Johnny assured Ten some more before hanging up, telling the members what was going on as he left right away, not bothering to listen to the members shocked responses. Ten stayed at the bus stop, calling numerous other parents from the school asking if they've seen Joowon get off at their stop.

Johnny finally arrived as Ten heard him speak his name, running to him immediately as Johnny took him into his embrace. It didn't take Ten long for him to start crying again as Johnny rubbed his back soothingly.

"We're gonna find him love" Johnny whispered as Ten could no longer say anything.

It felt like Ten's world was falling apart, and Johnny was also freaking out. Joowon just turned five, and even though he can speak pretty well, he is still just a baby in there eyes.

And is oh so tiny in Ten's and Johnny's eyes, as after all he's there baby. Just then, Ten heard his baby boys voice that immediately made his heart burst.

"Mommy" Joowon's voice spoke out as Ten whipped around, spotting his little boy as he immediately gasped in relief.

Ten immediately got down to Joowon's level as he scooped him up, kissing his boys face all over as Johnny went to join them.

Johnny took a sigh of relief as he fought back his tears as well, but it was no use as he couldn't lie either, he was extremely overwhelmed with emotions.

Ten looked up at Johnny, noticing Johnny's teary eyes as he continued crying, "Johnny it's our baby" Ten hiccuped as Johnny nodded gently kissing the top of their heads as they listened to what happened.

Joowon was put on the wrong bus, however Joowon was lucky enough to have a friend from his class that also boarded that bus. So Joowon got off the bus with him. Therefore, the other kids parents called the school, asking where Joowon lived and dropped him back off at his bus stop.

Joowon looked at Ten as he noticed Ten was still crying as he held Joowon close to him.

"Mommy is crying. Is mommy sad?" Joowon asked as Ten kissed Joowon once more.

"Mommy is okay, mommy just missed you" Ten told him as Joowon let out a little smile.

"I missed you too" he whispered, laying his head on Ten's shoulder as Johnny thanked the parents for bringing Joowon home safely.

Johnny also immediately texted the members, letting them know Joowon was safe and sound back in Ten's arms.

Reaching for his father, Johnny gently took Joowon as Ten was starting to calm down, feeling Johnny take his hand and assure him once more.

"It's okay, everything's okay. Joowon is back home with us" Johnny told him as Ten nodded, feeling Johnny wipe his tears away with his thumb.

Joowon closed his eyes as his head now laid on Johnny's shoulder, exhaustion overtaking him from school and playing with his friend.

Kissing Ten softly, Johnny took them to the car as he buckled Joowon into his seat, Ten sitting in the back with him as he was still shaken up.

"I want him to sleep with us tonight" Ten whispered as Johnny nodded, smiling at him as he also wanted that.

"Alright" Johnny cooed before getting in the drivers seat, driving them back home.

That night they all laid in bed, Ten fast asleep, holding Joowon close to him as Johnny stared at them in content; extremely thankful for his small family, and that their son was back in their arms.
