Sick Boy: Soobin x Kai (TXT)

Summary: Soobin's boyfriend, Heuning Kai, is not feeling well. Soobin, who usually is not that affectionate, takes care of him.

Soobin was not always the affectionate type when it came to love. He wasn't a huge fan of physical touch as he preferred to show his love in other ways; such as gift giving and affirmations.

So Kai wasn't really surprised when Soobin didn't realize Kai wasn't feeling well at first. Kai didn't wanna tell him as Soobin was really busy as the leader of TXT, and Kai just assumed it was allergies acting up.

Laying in bed, Kai's head pounded and his nose was all stuffed up, his body cold as he wrapped himself up in the covers. Closing his eyes, he fell asleep in hopes he would feel better when he woke up this evening.

Coming back home from the studio, Soobin made his way to his and Kai's shared room, noticing how the lights were off and he heard nothing. Usually Kai would greet him at the door with a bright smile and a huge hug, but today he was met with nothing.

Taking a deep breath, he went inside as he noticed Kai in bed. Huddled up under the covers as he slept softly, not budging when the door squeaked when Soobin opened it.

This wasn't like Kai as he is usually such a light sleeper. Any noise Soobin would make would wake up Kai as Kai had trouble staying asleep when he heard noises.

Soobin slowly made his way towards Kai, hovering over him as he looked at him softly. Soobin noticed how Kai's hair was matted to his face with sweat, and his cheeks and nose were rosy.

With wide eyes, Soobin softly put his hand against Kai's cheek, feeling how warm he was against his hand as Soobin cursed under his breath. Going into the bathroom, he grabbed a washcloth as he dunked it into cold water before wringing it out.

Making his way back to Kai, Soobin gently shook him, feeling guilty for waking Kai up. Kai fluttered his eyes open, looking up at Soobin as he smiled brightly at him.

"When did you get back?" Kai asked him, opening up his arms for Soobin to get into.

Soobin took him into his embrace as Kai was caught off guard, as usually Kai was the one engulfing him. Soobin could feel the heat radiating off his body as he pulled away, placing both of his hands on Kai's cheeks as Kai flinched from Soobin's cold touch.

"You're burning up" Soobin mumbled, his face all serious as he began to dab Kai's face with the cold cloth, watching as Kai reacted to the coldness.

"I'm alright" Kai whispered, watching as Soobin shook his head no.

Soobin motioned for Kai to lift up his arms, which Kai did as Soobin helped take off his shirt. Kai looked away, refusing to look at Soobin as he could feel Soobin wipe down his body with the cold wash cloth.

"When did you start feeling sick?" Soobin asked him, helping him put his shirt back on as Kai was still blushing.

"This morning" Kai responded, watching as a small pout made its way to Soobin's lips.

"I'm sorry I didn't notice you weren't feeling well right away" Soobin told him, his voice sad and full of guilt as it made Kai's heart clench.

Wrapping his arms around Soobin's waist, Kai pulled him close before leaning in, placing a small peck to Soobin's cheek.

"It's okay, I'm not upset. You're taking care of me now" Kai assured him, watching as it was now Soobin's turn to have blushed cheeks.

"Let me get you some medicine and hot tea" Soobin started, watching as Kai began to coo at the way Soobin was taking care of him.

"And I'll order some congee for you to eat too" he finished, watching Soobin stand up, making his way out the door before he came back with some medicine and water.

"Take these" Soobin told him, watching as Kai took the pills and plop them into his mouth.

Kai went to grab the water, but Soobin took notice of his shaky hands as he stopped Kai gently. Bringing the water up to Kai's lips, he helped him take small sips until the glass was almost gone.

"You need to stay hydrated" Soobin told him as Kai nodded, looking up at him as Soobin made eye contact with him.

He noticed Kai's cute button nose that was all red and his flushed cheeks that made him look so adorable. Soobin couldn't help himself as he leaned down, placing a soft kiss to Kai's forehead.

"I want you to feel better soon" Soobin whispered, watching as Kai smiled up at him, his face still flushed, but his attitude alrighty brighter.

"I will if you're with me" Kai teased, watching as Soobin looked away before rolling his eyes playfully; making his way to the kitchen to make them some hot tea. <3
