Jungwon never knew what him and Jay were. I mean he did, yet he didn't. He knew they were best friends, but it didn't feel like best friends.

Best friends don't hold hands, cuddle each other to sleep, brush and dry each other's hair, stare at one another 24/7, or even kiss.

Jungwon wanted to bring it up numerous times, but each time he tried it wasn't the right time. Jay always had a girl with him. Either talking to them, flirting with them, taking them on dates, or even taking them to a hotel.

Jungwon just didn't understand it. But hell, senior year of high school is almost over. And once it's over, Jungwon didn't have to see Jay as much. Or so he thought.

Turns out Jay got into the same college as Jungwon, and even wanted them to be roommates together in the dorms their first year; and of course Jungwon went along with it.

Jungwon sat in Jay's room, sitting on his bed as he watched Jay rummage through his closet. Throwing clothes on the floor as Jungwon helped him pick out an outfit for the party tonight. Another senior, Heeseung, was throwing a party at his place, and all seniors were invited.

It was the night before everyone left to head to college, and Jungwon was anxious. He didn't know what to expect in college. Living with Jay, being roommates with him. Could he honestly handle it?

Jay finally found the right outfit as he sighed a breath of relief, sitting down next to Jungwon on his bed as he looked at him. Placing his hand on top of his, Jungwon looked away as he didn't want Jay to see his face.

He was ashamed. Ashamed for falling for his best friend.

Would his best friend find him gross, disgusting, or even humiliating. Would he leave him and find a new friend. All because he liked guys?

Jungwon never told Jay about his sexuality, and Jay never asked or pressured him about it. Jungwon was thankful that Jay never brought it up, but sometimes he wished he could just be honest and truly be himself.

But he couldn't risk the consequences.

Jungwon was ripped from his thoughts as he felt Jay slowly grab his chin, turning his face towards him as Jungwon looked into his eyes, gulping as he felt his body tremble. He knew his cheeks were pink, and cursed himself for it.

"Why are you looking away?" Jay teased, his finger gently caressing Jungwon's bottom lip as Jungwon knew his voice would tremble in response.

"I thought you were gonna change...so I wanted to give you privacy" Jungwon whispered, their faces inches away from another as Jay smirked, letting go as Jungwon immediately moved away in embarrassment.

"I don't care if you see me" Jay laughed, taking off his shirt as Jungwon felt his heart begin to race, "You've seen me before."

Jungwon immediately knew what he was talking about. They've seen eachother naked many times in the boys locker rooms at school or during practice, but Jungwon didn't know if Jay remembered.

Remembered the night they did it.

Jay was drunk and Jungwon was tipsy, neither of them could stop. Jungwon was thankful for waking up first as he grabbed his things quickly, heading home, never mentioning a word since Jay never did. Jungwon wore turtle necks that entire week, hiding the marks Jay left behind all on his neck. But Jungwon was ashamed, hurt, and in so much pain that day.
