TW:
-swearing (I'm going to go edit through chapters at some point, and take out the asterisks because I don't think anyone will mind, and typing them sort of bugs me. Instead, swearing will be a TW, if you have any quarrel with this, please let me know, my dm's are open! Along with editing out asterisks, I will be making small little changes in the story (none that will alter any plot lines, so I apologize in advance for the excesses of notifications):]

Third Person POV:
"Can we talk?" He mumbled, almost shamefully.
With a nod, and a sigh, the atmosphere shifted to one of a serious nature, and secretly aching hearts.
"Okay, um- God, where to start?" Sapnap grumbled, entirely to himself. He lets out a deep sigh that perhaps only Karl could tell he had been holding. "First off, I am so fucking sorry." But before Karl could interject and end the conversation, Sapnap continued. "For everything. I know I was being a selfish asshole, and I don't deny having not thought about how breaking up would effect you." He stared into his ex-lover's eyes with something just short of wanderlust, the need to explore their love, the need to let their mouths wander each other's and their tongues twirl again, as if he couldn't live without it.
"Also, I-" his sentence cut off, words dying on his tongue as he but his lip in frustration, now staring at the floor as if it had done him wrong. "I found a song you might like." His mouth getting the better of him, and winning out. He shoots a cautious and nervous glance at Karl and the latter's heart melts in the way it only ever has on few occasions.
"Thank you." Karl smiles genuinely with his comment, and although it isn't much, by any means, Sapnap can tell through the wrinkles around the corners of his eyes, the small quiver in his smile at the edges, and tears of knowing the man, that he means it.
Riding a newfound high of confidence, and voice dripping with a nervousness that didn't appear anywhere else in his features, Sapnap relays why he pulled Karl aside in the first place. "How do you feel about Q?"
The question took Karl by surprise, his face surely showing it, otherwise Sapnap must've caught his bluntness, causing his eyes to widen and shoot back down to their comfort zone; the floor. "You don't have to answer that." His voice slips back into a near incoherent mumble, that surely only few people could understand.
"It's alright, I will... uh, I think Quack is smart, incredibly funny, loves music and making fun o-"
Karl starts, normally the gaps between his speech would be filled with giggles, though he'd lost that a while back, and Sap found himself yearning to hear the sound again."No- I, uh." Sapnap's ears burn an ashamed shade of deep red as he apologized profusely for interrupting, although Karl shook it off, telling him to continue. Hesitantly, he obliged. "I mean, like... do you like him?"
Well, it wasn't entirely a shot in the dark, but the man didn't have any true evidence. Somehow, the shot hit its mark, and now it was Karl's turn to redden. That alone answered Sapnap's question, and part of him longed to tease Karl for the coloration on his face, and along his ears, but Karl felt the need to elaborate audibly, for the sake of not being rude.
"Yeah."
