Nayeon's new album had just released. She's been on several shows to promote it. With each show asking the same questions but in different variations, she was surprised by the change of questions on the show she was currently in.
"I'm sorry but can you repeat that?"
The host laughs and repeats the question again.
"Any lover that you dedicated a song to?"
Nayeon smile as she thought about you but it falls when she answers the question.
"I'm sorry but I don't have a lover. This album...."
"Oh come on. Don't be shy about it. We're all dying to know who could've made you smile like that."
Nayeon laughed awkwardly, trying not to show that she was starting to panic. She's never been in a situation where they asked her about her love life when she was actually with someone.
"I don't know what to tell you but it's true. I truly don't have one."
He continues to press her for an answers but he gets nowhere as Nayeon continues to give him no answers. He only gives up when he runs out of time.
"Well that's disappointing. We were looking forward to hearing about that lover of yours. Anyways! That's all the time we have today. Thank you for joining us and we look forward to the next album....."
Hearing that the interview was about to end, Nayeon blocked everything out. She had a smile on as she looked at the producer for his signal that the filming had ended. Just as he gives her the signal, she takes off to her dressing room.
There's already several texts of concerns from her friends and one that let her know that the show was blacklisted from ever interviewing her. She ignores them all so that she could give you a call.

Busy with a business call, you couldn't have the volume on the TV. However, you could immediately notice that something was wrong by Nayeon's facial expression. You weren't sure what had upset her and now you regretted not pushing back the call for another hour.
As the interview ended, you hurried to finish your call so you could talk to Nayeon. Just as you end the call, your personal phone is ringing. You didn't have to check the caller ID to know that it was your girlfriend.
"Are you okay, love?"
Nayeon let out a sigh of relief when she heard your voice. Hearing your voice never failed to help her calm down.
"I'm fine now. He just kept asking me if I was dating anyone and wouldn't take no for an answer. He only stopped when he ran out of time." You saw red when you heard this. Just because you weren't in the entertainment industry, didn't mean you couldn't do something about what he had done. You had connections. "....(y/n)?"
"Sorry! I was just finishing up here so I can come over. Do you want me to pick you up?"
"Yes, please."
"Perfect. Then I'm on my way."

You left strict instructions with your secretary before you left. You couldn't have him fired immediately but you could find something that would warrant his dismissal. Your secretary was tasked with finding evidence to have him fired.
"You're being suspicious."
Nayeon tells you after you hang up on the fifth call that has interrupted your movie time.
"I'm sorry, love. I promise this was the last call. I wouldn't answer if it wasn't important."
She cuddles closer to you, almost practically on top of you. You laugh as you pick her up to sit between your legs.
"You're forgiven. No more interruptions or I'm going to be mad."

Nayeon had forgotten all about the interviewer until a few weeks later when his name popped up on the news. He had been charged and fired after what had been leaked. No one knew who was responsible for the leak but Nayeon had a vague idea.
"So you had no idea about this?"
You pretend to be shocked when you read the news article.
"I seriously had no idea! I knew something was off about him."
She shakes her head as she makes her way over to you. Wrapping her arms around your neck, she leans in to kiss you.
"I love you."
Nayeon wasn't dumb. She knew what you had done.
"And I love you."
