Summary: Jennie can't sleep.
Jennie laid wide awake in her bed, unable to sleep. She had an early schedule and nothing she did helped her fall asleep. Looking over at her clock, she could barely make out that it was 2 in the morning. If she didn't go to bed soon, she would be tired for the day. Having a concert to perform the next day, she couldn't afford to sleep.
There was one thing she hadn't tried yet but she wasn't sure if it would even work. If it didn't end up working, Jennie would've just bothered you for nothing. As another minuted passed by, Jennie decided to give it a try. She could always apologize for interrupting you at work.
Grabbing her phone, Jennie looked for your contact.

Your day had been shitty. Not only had you woken up late, you had meetings to attend to back to back. It wasn't until your day had ended when you had gotten a moment to take a breather. Just as you lean back on your chair to close your eyes for a minute, your phone rings. Upon hearing Jennie's set ringtone, your mood improved. However, you were confused to see she was calling at this hour. If you had done the math right, it was almost 3AM where Jennie was.
"Is everything okay?"
You ask as soon as you answer.
"I can't sleep."
Jennie whispers to you.
"Why is that, babe? Is the room hot? Cold? You can't get comfortable? Are the girls being too loud again?"
"I don't know." She lets out a sigh. "Can you just tell me about your day? I just want to hear your voice."
"Of course, darling." Skipping the bad parts of your day, you went on to explain the good and boring parts. You told her about the breakfast and lunch you had. The plenty of boring meetings you had to sit through. What you'll be making for dinner. How you'll probably take Kuma on a drive around the city before eventually putting on a movie to watch with him while the two of you waited for her to call. "What about you, love? How was your day?" There's silence on the other end of the line. "Jennie?" Silence is again heard before you heard quiet snoring. It was tempting to record the quiet snores since she always denied snoring but you decided against it. There was always other times were you could record evidence. "Goodnight. I love you, darling."

Although she had slept than usual, Jennie still managed to wake up with enough time to call you. If her math was right, it was almost midnight for you.
"I'm sorry about falling asleep."
Jennie tells you when you answer her call. You give her a smile, finding it adorable to see her so embarrassed.
"You have nothing to be sorry for. I'm glad I could help you fall asleep. I have an early morning tomorrow too, maybe you could do the same for me."
"Of course, baby. Get comfortable." Jennie watches as you set the phone down to get comfortable in bed. She watches in awe as she sees you cuddle with Kuma on your shared bed. Just a few more months and then she would be able to go back home. "Comfy?"
"Yep. Now go ahead."
You close your eyes as Jennie tells you about her day. When she saw your breathing even out, Jennie took a screenshot of the moment.
Much like you had done last night, Jennie whispered her quiet goodnight.

When you wake up, you're greeted by a message from Jennie. Opening it up, you find a screenshot of you asleep with Kuma besides you.
"Cuties. I miss the two of you"
"We miss you too." You reply along with an image of you and Kuma with bed hair.
