Summary: Things between you and Chae have changed.
Before your debuts, it was just you and Chae against the entertainment companies. They had all imposed dating bans between the trainees but that didn't stop you and Chae from getting close. It had started off with the two of you becoming close friends until eventually becoming something more. You were hesitant about the two of you dating but Chae insisted. She was the one insisting the nothing could come between the two of you. As long as no one found out about what the two of you were, no one could force you to break up.
"I'm just scared, Chae. What if they find out? They'll kick us out if they knew."
Chae pulled you in for a kiss.
"They won't find out. We've gotten good at hiding things. They'll never suspect a thing."
"But...."
"Just trust me, (y/n). Nothing will come between us. I love you."
Seeing the determination in her eyes, you knew Chae wasn't going to give up. She was always the stronger one between the two you.
"I love you too."

Chaeyoung kept her word. Nothing came between the two of you since you started dating. Not when you wouldn't be debuting with her. Not when you got released from the company. Not when you joined another company. Not when the group you joined was dissolved. Not when the two of you were so busy with your schedules that you barely had any time for each other.
Despite your busy lives, the two of you always made an effort to be there for one another. If it wasn't visiting the other, it was sending each other messages or gifts that reminded the other of how much you missed them.
It was hard work to maintain your relationship but you wouldn't have it any other way. You love Rosé and you knew these schedules wouldn't be forever. It was only temporary and you would be able to deal with it. With Rosé, nothing could come between the two of you.

"So our comeback is scheduled for April. I'm a little nervous about the release."
"It's going to be amazing like all the other ones. I just know it."
You let out a sigh as you roll over on your bed to lay down on your back to stare at the ceiling. You were anxious about the new mini album and you wanted nothing more than to be held by Rosé. Unfortunately, she was thousands of miles away in the states.
"I hope so. I'll be getting some time after the promotions. Maybe.....we can go on a vacation. It's been a while since we've been on one."
You were hesitant to bring up the vacation. As of late, Rosé has been too busy. Even when she was back home, she always had an excuse to not go. It was getting a little disheartening to continue hearing an apology.
"I would love that! I really would but...." You tuned out after she started with her excuse. You should've known that she wouldn't be able to join you. "I really am sorry. I promise to make it up to you."
You didn't bother to mention the fact that Rosé would always says she would make it up to you but she never did. You were having doubts about your relationship but you were too afraid to voice them out. With how successful her group was, Rosé free time was rare.
"It's ok. Another day then."
The two of you talked a little longer before she had to go.
"I have to go. We're going to be meeting a brand that wants to partner with us later today and I need to get ready."
