(Twice)
Dahyun was talking to you about something but you weren't really paying any attention. You were more focused on what Nayeon was doing. You were interested in her ever since you first laid your eyes on her. The only problem was that Nayeon avoided you at all costs.
"You're barking up the wrong tree, (y/n)."
"Huh?" You turn to face her, giving her an innocent smile. "I have no clue what you're talking about."
She raises her brow as she turns to look at Nayeon.
"You know exactly what I mean. She wouldn't go out with someone like you. You've been trying to ask her out for days. I think it's time that you took a hint."
It was annoying to agree with Dahyun. Nayeon clearly wasn't interested. You shouldn't be bothered by the fact that she didn't even acknowledge you but you were. This was all new for you. If you knew that people weren't interested in you, you immediately stopped pursuing them. You didn't want to stop with Nayeon.
"Like me? What's that supposed to mean?"
You tried to sound like you were upset but your smile gave you away.
"I believe I've heard a lot of people call you a player. A heartbreaker if you will. Besides, even if Nayeon was interested, none of us will let you near her with a 10 foot pole."
"Ouch. None of you like me?"
"We do but lets face it. You're not really girlfriend material. You have your fun and then toss them aside when you're done."
"Maybe I've changed."
"I'll believe that when pigs fly."
X
Nayeon was addicting. Even though you hardly spoke to her, you wanted to be around her all the time. You wanted to get to know her. You wanted to listen to her talk all night long. You just wanted to be with her.
Nayeon noticed your attempts. She was annoyed about them at first but was convinced to take advantage of you.
"Can you get me some coffee from the shop in the corner?"
You were in the middle of practice when she had barged in. Upon hearing her voice, you immediately stopped and turned to her. Your instructor stopped along with you and hurried to give the two of you privacy. From previous times, he knew you wouldn't go back practicing.
"Of course! Anything else?"
You expected her to say no or ask for another thing but she started to list off an entire order for the entire group. You struggled to type it all down and even had to ask her to repeat some of the orders.
"Thank you so much! We'll wait for it down the hall."
As she hurries to leave the room, you jog to catch up to her.
