You had tried to go back to your old ways just to feel something. Sleeping with other women just felt meaningless. It didn't help that you kept comparing all of them to Nayeon. None of them were like her. Even though Nayeon had broken your heart, your heart still ached for her.
After a while, you stopped sleeping with others. You stopped going out to parties. Instead, you chose to focus on your music and career. Rather than being known as the heartbreaker, you just wanted to be known for your music. Your name stopped appearing on the front page because of your latest heartbreak. You only appeared on covers because of collaborations and promotions.
It had taken almost a year to clean your image but it had been worth it. You ended up meeting a nice woman who had looked past your mistakes and saw that you had changed. Since she wasn't another idol, you kept her from the world. You wanted to keep your relationship private so they wouldn't harass her because of your past. It wouldn't be fair of her to be dealing with something that she had nothing to do with it. No one knew that you were in a committed relationship except for your close friends and family.

"Twice? I don't know, Lena. We didn't exactly end in good terms the last time we collaborated."
"It's been years. Plus you've changed. I'm sure things will be different this time."
You looked down at the song that they wanted for you to be featured in. The last song you had performed together had been a hit and both of your labels hoped this song will outperform the other. Both of you needed a boost in popularity so it was a win-win in both their eyes.
"What did they say?"
"They all already agreed to doing the song. It's up to you."
With a sigh, you hand her the sheet music back. While it seemed like she was giving you a choice, you really only had one choice.
"Alright. I'll do it."

The girls were just the same as you remembered when they first debuted. They had gained confidence and seemed much happier than before.
"(y/n), it's been a while."
You had done everything to avoid TWICE like the plague. The last thing you wanted was to see Nayeon and her friends. Even after you started dating your fiancée, you still didn't want to risk old feeling resurfacing.
"Jihyo, it's a pleasure to be working with you again. I've been a fan of your work."
She laughs while looking at the girls who had already entered the recording studio.
"I didn't think you would be following our music after what happened."
"TWICE is talented. How could I not listen to your music?"
"I can't disagree with that. We should probably go in. They're all waiting for us."
Standing up, you followed Jihyo into the recording booth.
