Summary: PRINCESS!MIYEON AU. Miyeon gets one look at you and she wants more.
With years still left to take over the throne, Miyeon's day was filled with lessons to help her become the future queen of the kingdom. She barely had a minute to catch her breath before she was whisked off to the next lesson. It drained her and there was nothing she could do about them if she wanted to be the next ruler.
The only thing that managed to get her through the day was catching glimpses of you throughout the castle. She never knew when she would bump into you so it was always a nice surprise when she ran into you. No matter how busy her day was, she always took a minute to greet you and make sure you're doing well.
"Good morning, (y/n)."
"Good morning, Princess."
You bowed your head and opened the door for her to walk in.
"So eager to get away from me. I wanted to talk to you."
She whined. You look over to your friend, unsure of what to do. Your training never prepared you to interact with the princess other than the standards. Having a casual conversation with the princess had not been thought to you so you weren't sure how to act.
"I apologize, Princess. Is there something I can do for you?"
"As a matter of fact, you can. It's getting quite boring to draw the same thing over and over again. I'd like to draw you for my lesson today."
"Me?"
"Yes. There's just something about you in your armor that has inspired me. What do you say?"
Asking was merely a formality, it was practically a request. You couldn't deny her wish.
"Of course, Princess."

Everyone was scratching their heads when they learned of what had transpired between you and the princess. Word had spread quickly and it didn't take long for the king to hear of what had happened.
"Princess, I hope what happened today was only a one time occurrence."
"It's not going to be, daddy. I had a lot of fun today and it's all thanks to her." Miyeon smiled as she thought about how flustered you would get with her comments. She couldn't remember the last time she had so much fun. "If you want me to continue my lessons then you'll let me continue drawing her."
"Miyeon, she's training to be part of your queensguard. She's been training since she was little and these kinds of distractions will hinder her training."
Miyeon stopped mid-bite to glare at her father. She had always been obedient. Never defying anything that her father and mother said but she wasn't going to budge about this. She liked you and despite barely knowing anything about you, you intrigued her.
"Then why don't we start her early? Nothing better than field experience. By the time I become Queen, she'll be ready."
"Miyeon, I beg of you. Pick another knight, worker, royal...."
"Dear, I believe Miyeon is right. There's nothing better than having actual experience. She'll be working alongside experience knights that will pass her knowledge about the job she'll be doing in the near future. I'm sure this knight will be able to handle both training and working as her guard."
The king looked between his wife and daughter before letting out a sigh.
"I suppose I have no other choice than to agree."

The new schedule change was hell. They had you training nights while the Princess slept and only allowed you four hours of sleep before you had to wake up and be ready to join the Princess for the day. Exhaustion was slowly creeping up on you and it didn't take long for you to pass out from it.
