Summary: Nayeon proves to the girls that you're not like the others.
You're just on your way home from work when you get a call from Nayeon.
"Hey, baby. I'm just pulling out of work. I should be there in half an hour."
"Perfect! I was wondering if you could get a few things for me. I would go but I don't want to bother Johnny."
"Sure, babe. What did you want me to get?"
You continued driving back to your shared apartment, thinking that she was only going to list a thing or two that you could just stop by the convenience store to buy.
"Well we're out of my favorite chips, if you could get me another bag? Oh! We're also out of ramen. I wanted to take some for practice."
"Okay, any flavor in particular?"
".....mmm. Whatever looks good for you. I don't really mind."
"Alright, babe. I should be...."
"Oh! Could you also get me some ice cream too? We're out."
"Yeah...I'll buy that when I get closer. Anything else?"
"Nope. I'm good. Thank you, babe!"
"No problem. I'll see you soon. I love you."
"I love you too! Byeeee."
You arrived at the nearby grocery store and set out to search for Nayeon's requests.

Nayeon timed it to call you just when she knew you were just about done.
"Baby! I forgot to tell you but could you also buy me some pads? You're still at the store, right?"
It takes a minute for you to answer but she could distinctly hear a car door closing.
"Right. Anything else you need?
"Nope. I should be good now."
"Mmm. Alright, babe. I'll see you in a few."
You hang, finally giving the others the opportunity to talk.
"(y/n) is a damn saint to deal with your ass, Nayeon. I would've told you to shove it."
"And this is why you're single, Momo."
Momo rolls her eyes and throws her a pillow.
"Isn't it kinda mean that you're making her do all these things just to prove a point?"
Sana interrupts the two of them.
"It's fine. I'll be surprising her with her favorite take out and all will be forgiven."

Half an hour later and finally back on the road, you get yet another call from Nayeon.
"Are you already on your way back, babe?"
"Yeah. I got everything. Just need the ice cream. I'm about to park at the store. Did you forget something else?"
"No but I was hoping if you could buy me an iced coffee? You're close to one, right?"
The closest one was about 10 minutes away but you weren't about to tell her that.
"Yeah. Just a minute away. I'll get the ice cream and then head out to buy the coffee. I'll see you soon."
"See you soon. Love you!"
"I love you too!"
You hang up with a smile, amused over how demanding Nayeon was being. She usually wasn't like this but you figured with everything that she was asking for, she must be on her period.

Sana's words were finally getting to Nayeon so she had called it a day after asking for her iced coffee. She had already proven a point to Momo so there was no reason to bother you again. The three of them talk about random things until you return.
You finally come back home almost an hour later. Nayeon hurries to greet you happily but stops when she notices you practically in tears.
"Babe, what's wrong? What happened?"
All you do is hold up a bag. Upon further inspection, Nayeon's eyes widen when she realizes that the ice cream had melted.
"I'm sorry. They took so long with your order and your ice cream ended up melting. I went back to try to get you another one but the store had already closed."
"Oh, (y/n)."
Nayeon grabs the bag and sets it aside before pulling you in for a tight hug.
"I'm sorry. I know how you really wanted the ice cream."
"Forget the ice cream, love. You got me everything else. Thank you."
She wipes your tears away and leans in to give you a quick kiss. The two of you turn around when you hear a gagging sound from behind Nayeon.
"We're still here! Save your PDA for when we're gone."
Nayeon rolls her eyes at her. She takes your hand and leads you to join Sana and Momo at the couch where you spot your favorite take out bag at the table.
"It's been a while since we had some of this so I bought it for you as a thank you."

The food is almost over when Momo spills why Nayeon had been so demanding. You look over to Nayeon to see if Momo was lying but you could tell she wasn't by the guilty expression on Nayeon's face.
"This was a test?"
"No! Of course not. I just wanted to show them that you're not like the others. You treat me like a princess. You have patience with me unlike the others."
You look over to Sana and Momo with a raised brow. From what you gathered with past conversations with the other members, you knew that Nayeon didn't have the best dating history so you were aware that they were cautious about you.
"Well did I pass the test?"
"You're not mad?"
Momo asks, surprise evident in her tone.
"Mad? No. I really like Nayeon and I've been wanting to smooth things over with the team. I know that not everyone was happy about me and Nayeon dating."
"That's not true! We all liked you."
Sana tells you.
"It's okay, Sana. I appreciated that you all at least gave me a chance to prove myself."
"You had nothing to prove, (y/n). This test was stupid. I'm sorry."
You give Nayeon a smile and lean in to kiss her cheek.
"If it means that your friends would stop worrying about me then it wasn't stupid."
Nayeon happily yelled after wrapping her arms around you and pulling you in for a tight hug.
"I love you so much."
"I love you too."
"Can we eat now? The food is getting cold?"
Momo interrupts the two of you before the two of you made her throw up with all the PDA. She was rethinking her attitude about you. However seeing how wide Nayeon's smile was with you, she could tell that you truly made her happy. It was a relief to know that you weren't like the others.
