Wendy was walking to the Mystery Shack on one of her rare days off. She should have been hanging out by the pool with her friends but forgot that she left her paycheck from the past week. "Damn," she cursed aloud "I've got to remember to actually TAKE my hard earned money home or I'm not going anywhere in this world!"

She was rounding the corner of the road leading to the shack when she spotted a limo parked out front. 'Oh God what did Stan do now?!?' Wendy thought almost immediately. She walked up to the driver's window, "Excuse me but the Mystery Shack is closed so whatever business you have will have to wait until tomorrow." Wendy told the driver.

When the driver didn't respond Wendy heard a deep, gruff sounding voice from the back. "It's our business and you shouldn't be meddling in it. Now get lost!" Wendy retracted her head in shock. "Excuse me," she asked clearly angry, "maybe I didn't make myself clear, EITHER LEAVE OR I CALL THE COPS!!!" Wendy yelled as whoever was in the back. "I SAID BEAT IT KID!!!" the voice said in a tone of utter malice, shaking whatever courage Wendy had. Wendy stood up straight and walked towards the shack wanting to alert Stan.

Wendy was about to open the door when it swung open and a blonde girl came running out. They bumped into each other and the girl said, "Excuse me." while still crying. After the girl had run past her, Wendy heard Dipper calling out. She walked inside to find Dipper in a state of shock. "Hey Dipper what happened and who was that?" Wendy asked. She hated not knowing what was going on. But Dipper only kept staring out the door where the limo and the blonde girl had been.

Wendy got down and started to shake Dipper by the shoulders. "Dipper, tell me what's going on or I'm going smack you!" Wendy threatened. Luckily that wasn't needed as Dipper soon blinked and looked at Wendy. "WENDY, H...HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN STANDING THERE?!?" Dipper asked in surprise, seemingly not noticing Wendy was ever there.

"Dude I've only been here for a couple of minutes." Wendy said looking very worried at Dipper. "Can you please tell me what's going on and who that was?" Wendy asked for what seemed like the millionth time. "That was Pacifica Northwest and she came over here to say that she could no longer be seen around me or my sister, so in a fit of rage I told her that I liked her which led to her telling me she liked me, and then she ran away crying." Dipper said almost automatically. He looked up in surprise, then got really angry. He then reached into his back pocket and pulled out what looked like a piece of a rock. In one swift motion he hurled it across the room, barely missing the lamp. "THAT THING HAS RUINED MY LIFE IN A MATTER OF A DAY!!!"

Wendy stood up, startled at the level of aggression Dipper was at. "Whoa dude calm down," Wendy said while putting a softer tone in her voice, then she seemed to register what Dipper had said "Wait, did you say Pacifica Northwest, THE Pacifica Northwest, the girl who's been a jerk to you and Mabel basically all summer?!?" Wendy asked incredulously. 'It's good that he's gotten over me but I didn't expect he'd fall for her, or her for him for that matter!' Wendy thought, still somewhat processing what she had been told. "I had what was called the 'Truth Stone', or at least a small fragment of it anyway," Dipper began telling Wendy "And soon it made me blurt out that I liked her and the crazy thing is she returned those feelings, but she just left crying and saying that that's why she couldn't be around me or Mabel." Dipper said sadly.

Wendy looked down. She was mostly good at solving relationship problems but this went way outside her knowledge and her comfort zone. "Listen dude I can't know what you're going through. Heck, the longest I've had a boyfriend was four weeks!" Wendy exclaimed. "But here's what I know, if you like a girl and if she likes you back just as strongly then somehow, SOMEWAY, they'll find a way a to be together, just look at Romeo and Juliet." Wendy said. Dipper looked up at the red-headed teen, "You know those two died in the end, right?" Dipper asked her. "Besides the point, they defied everything they were to be with each other." Wendy said patting Dipper on the back. Dipper looked up at his former summer crush and realized just how good of a friend she was, he smiled. "Thanks Wendy, I think I just might do that." He said genuinely happy. "Thank you because that was literally the only thing I could come up with!" She said embarrassed. Dipper and Wendy both started laughing. "Come on Romeo, let's go get some ice cream and help you win over your Juliet!"

Dipper and Wendy walked outside to leave. Unbeknownst to them someone had been watching the whole time."Hmm, perhaps I can use this to my advantage..." a familiar voice said while watching the boy and teen leave in a golf cart.
