Book 1 of my Bennett Supernatural story... rewritten/updated
This is an updated rewrite of my TVD story, Bennett Witches. So bare with me if they're slower than normal as I will be adding things and making the chapters longer~

Chris and Bonnie were at school for the Founders Day preparations they had to do in Mr.Saltzmans history lesson. They were both still refusing to talk to Elena while she hung out with her boyfriend and his brother
This made Chris sit with Matt, Tyler and some other people in his class who were being made to do projects for the parade. Bonnie was sitting near with Caroline helping her with making a Miss Mystic Float since she won this year
Alaric came over to Chris' table and handed them all a piece of paper "So these are the specs for the History Department Founders Day float. We're gonna be re-creating the Battle of Willow Creek"
Chris looked at the page and saw some references on what to do, having to stand on a float in whatever they made. He was gay, but not that gay "Sir, I have problems with this"
"Which would be?" Alaric asked
"That I don't want to do it. I just don't think I'm the stand on a float giving a performance type of person. Maybe my talents lie elsewhere" Chris said trying to get out of the project
"Hmm" Alaric hummed "If you really think that then you don't have to go on Chris. Maybe you could do something less performancy"
Chris smiled happily at getting his own way "Exactly. I knew you'd understand"
"And for that you can be head of design for this project" Alaric dumped on him
Chris then realised he'd just been tricked into doing another thing he wouldn't want to do "What! I say I'm not good at performing so you dump another type of art on me?"
"I've seen some of the stuff you do with Caroline, helping her with decor. So yes Bennett, your doing this. Unless you want to be on the float and I'll get Tyler to design instead" Alaric forced him into a choice
Tyler who was sat opposite Chris looked at him shaking his head really not wanting to design "Ugh, fine. What have I got to do?" Chris groaned

"Just pick a team, be creative and..." Alaric then looked to the door and spotted Elena and Stefan outside of it talking to other students, he then stopped talking to Chris and walked off without answering
Chris saw that he got Elena and walked off talking to her with a serious face "Yet again, Elena..." Chris scoffed quietly to himself slumming in his seat
Matt who was sitting next to him picked up on his snarky tone and glum attitude "Chris, I've been meaning to ask. What's up with your recent deal with Elena?"
Chris turned his head slowly towards Matt keeping his snarky face "Those aren't the words of Matt Donovan? Is that Caroline? Are you some kind of personal speak and spell?"
