13)Miss Mystic Falls

Mystic Falls High
3rd Person:

Christopher and Bonnie took some time away from Mystic Falls with a couple of their distant family members. They had a funeral for Sheila Bennett which took a toll on the twins who didn't return to school for a while

But eventually they both came back. Bonnie wanted more time away but Chris wanted to come back to school, he couldn't be near his 'family' members anymore with them asking questions and his dad annoying him about all their magic activities

Chris rushed through the empty school hall to get to his history lesson. He opened the door and walked into Mr.Saltzmans lesson "Sorry I'm late" He apologised

"Welcome home, Chris. Looks like we will be at full occupancy today" He realised only Chris came into the lesson and one seat was empty "Where's Bonnie today?"

"She will be here later, she's just sorting something out right now" Chris told him as he took his seat that was close to Elena

Alaric nodded since he understood about the supernatural things happening with this particular group and didn't want to budge Chris anymore after being back for less than a day

Chris sat down and Elena smiled at him to which he smiled back until he saw Stefans head poke from the other side of her, once he saw Stefan Chris slowly looked towards the front of the class so he could avoid eye contact with him

Elena noticed this and looked between them both wondering what was wrong

Once the lesson was over with, Chris immediately left the class and went outside without speaking to any of his friends. Elena left Stefan and raced after him "Chris!"

Chris turned his head around and spotted that Elena had caught up with him "Hey" He greeted politely

"Hey, I tried to grab you after class but you had already gone" Elena said making Chris turn around and stop walking "How are you? How's Bonnie and your family?"

"It's been hard. But we're coping" He told her plainly

"We've all really missed you two"

"Yeah we just had a lot to do with the funeral and all. And honestly when you told me the tomb spell failed Bonnie didn't want to come back. But she is back, because I made her. Couldn't stand being with family talking too much about things they don't understand" Chris explained

"I hope you understand why I told you. I didn't want you both to come back and discover it for yourself"

"I understand. Doesn't make me feel any better either way though" Chris said

"I know it's been really har-"

Before Elena could talk Caroline came racing over with a slow trekking Bonnie behind her "Chris!" He then got attacked with Caroline's arms that wrapped around him "I'm so glad your back. I know we've already spoke but I missed you. How are you doing?"

Once Elena heard that she looked at Caroline with confusion as Chris or Bonnie had spoke to Elena as much. Nothing personal towards Elena but, they had their reasons "Better. Just glad I'm back home"

"At least one of you is glad to be back" Caroline said tilting her head back towards Bonnie who stood a little away just pretending to look through her books

"She just needs to keep busy" Chris said

"I'm glad you said that because I'd like you both to help me pick a dress for the Founders court"
