3rd Person:

The night of dread fast approached the group with Klaus' plan of breaking his curse was finally coming into action after thousands of years

Chris sat in the living room with Stefan and Elena as Elijah was stood up infront of them, explaining to them what he told Chris back at the Lockwood Mansion "Tonight is a full moon. We should assume that Klaus is prepared to break the curse tonight"

"Chris said that the Sun and the Moon Curse is fake" Stefan asked Elijah "That it is just a curse placed on Klaus"

"Klaus is a vampire born of a werewolf bloodline. The curse has kept his werewolf aspect from manifesting. But if he breaks it, he'll be a true hybrid" Elijah explained in reply to him

Damon, who came from his sulk in his bedroom, appeared behind Elijah walking into the room "Then why are we letting him break the curse? We can kill him today. With Bonnie"

"How many times, Damon. She would die" Chris said in annoyance

"I'll write her a great eulogy and give you some life insurance, it's fine" Damon joked

"This isn't a joking matter, Damon. The only way to do that is to pull it off together and we don't think that would work. So no"

"Your a waste of magic" Damon huffed

"All right, how do we break this curse?" Stefan asked Elijah

"The ritual itself is relatively straightforward. The ingredients, so to speak, you already know. The moonstone. A witch will channel the power of the full moon to release the spell that's bound within the stone. After that, Klaus, being both werewolf and vampire will sacrifice one of each" Elijah explained

"And where do I fit into all this?" Elena asked

"The final part of the ritual" Elijah walked over to a high table and picked up a box that he brought along with him "Klaus must drink the blood of the doppelganger, to the point of your death"

Damon shook his head and Stefan grabbed Elenas hand as she took a large breath "And that's when your elixir comes in, right?" Chris asked

"Yes" Elijah said opening the box and pulling out an ancient looking vial "This is the elixir that I acquired some 500 years ago for Katerina. It possesses mystical properties of resuscitation"

"So I'll be dead?" Elena said

"And then you won't be" Elijah finished

"That's the plan?" Damon scoffed at them all "A magical witch potion with no expiration date? You wanna come back to life, what about John's ring?"

"As human as she appears, Damon, Elena is still a doppelganger. She's a supernatural entity like you and I, therefore the ring will not work and she would die" Chris reminded him frustratingly

"I'd still trust the ring far more than his elixir. What if it doesn't work, Elena?"

"Then I guess I'll just be dead" Elena sighed

"Wha-" Damon stunted at her response looking at Stefan who did nothing but shrug at him as he wanted to keep respecting her decisions. This made Damon sigh himself and strut away to the front of the house

"Do we know if Klaus has everything he needs to do this yet?" Chris asked him "Do you think he has a werewolf? There not that easy to come by"

"Klaus has been waiting to break this curse for over 1000 years. If he doesn't already have a werewolf, my guess is he has a plan to obtain one for tonight"
