Book 1 of my Bennett Supernatural story... rewritten/updated
This is an updated rewrite of my TVD story, Bennett Witches. So bare with me if they're slower than normal as I will be adding things and making the chapters longer~
Christopher Chris' Ben...
The four of them; Chris, Bonnie, Caroline and Elena were standing in front of their school, which Chris sadly hadn't missed any of it because it was summer break when he was on his hybrid trip
"Here we are. Senior year" Caroline said as they walked up to the building. They were all moving up in their personal and school lives, coming up to the last year of high school
And with Stefan turning his humanity off and Klaus still poking around they knew passing with good grades was going to be a big challenge for them. Chris suggested if they fail, Caroline could compel the school board but to that she thwacked him on the back of the head telling him 'just don't fail in the first place'

"Anyone else think this should feel slightly more empowering?" Bonnie asked them with slight disappointment as Elena stood in silence. Caroline was the only one who was trying to remain positive
"Yeah, it doesn't feel like were even growing. I also missed summer break so it feels like I haven't had anytime off school" Chris said
Caroline looked to her left and right at her three friends and sadly huffed then tried to lighten them up "Okay, so this year has been a big one. But we're going to accept it was terrible and move on because it's a new school year and we're all here together"
"You're right. I mean, why should I let the fact that my boyfriend is seeing a ghost of his dead girlfriends hinder this experience?" Bonnie said sarcastically
Caroline piles onto the sarcastic train "Yes. And why should I let the fact my boyfriend was turned into a hybrid put a damper on an otherwise fabulous day?"
"Exactly. Why should we all let the fact that there's people who we can't get rid of just running around town doing whatever they want to distract us from getting a somewhat good education this year" Chris then also added thinking about what had happened the past few months. Being taken by Klaus, meeting not one but two more original vampires and even with all their distractions Klaus still successfully made his hybrids
As they walked towards the school they noticed that Elena had stopped walking "Today's our anniversary..." The other three stop in there tracks and turned to look at Elena who was still in thought "Technically, Stefan and I met on the first day of school last year"
"Yeah you win" Caroline said to her
Chris creased his eyebrows "No offence, Elena, but an ex obsessed with a ghost ex and a newly hybrid boyfriend who technically is dead is slightly worse than a one year anniversary you can't celebrate" They all looked at one another and nodded in agreement "That being said, we do need to do something about no humanity Stefan before he eats all our class"
"We will" Caroline responded "But for now let's try and get through our first day back"
~~~~ Chris went to his locker and opened it then put his bag inside of it then locked it. He then saw Caroline putting up a flier on the board down the hallway and walked towards her. The flier said 'Spirit Squad Back-To-School Bonfire' "There's a bonfire happening?"
