28)The Martin Witches

Mystic Falls High,
3rd Person:

From the moment she woke up this morning to going to school to being in school, Chris had been keeping a protective eye on Bonnie ever since she lost her magic

He knew it had taken a toll on her and that she had been starting to fell useless since back then when someone was coming for her friends she could help, but now Klaus was coming for Elena and as far as she knew only Chris could now do something about it

And instead of making them feel better about the new day, Stefan decided to inform the twins that after Elijah had been daggered his compulsion on Katherine, who was previously in the tomb, is now inactive meaning she was out and possibly terrorising all she can

"She's out of the tomb?" Bonnie repeated thinking she had heard Stefan wrong

"Yeah and we're dealing with it, alright, just be extra careful. She's gotten a little too good at impersonating Elena" Stefan informed them

"If Katherine is around then we desperately need to find a way to bring your powers back" Chris told Bonnie, as if she didn't already know

"Look, I want to get the Martins on our side. Figure out a way for us all to work together now that Elijah is out of the picture" Stefan told them

Bonnie stared at him with a grim face while Chris shook his head at Stefan and said "Are you an idiot? They hate us, and I don't much care for them. They will only work with Elijah"

"Its either win them over or someone's gonna end up dead. Do you think either of you could convince them to have a civil conversation?" Stefan asked

"Bonnie can" Chris said making her twist her head towards him "He already took your magic, if I go near him what do you think is going to happen. And honestly you can talk to people and make them understand more than I can"

"Thanks you two. I'll keep you all posted" Stefan then walked away and left the three of them to contemplate

"I've realised that most of the time we speak to Stefan he's giving us bad news" Chris said to them "I'd like him one day to come up to us and tell us a dessert shop is opening up or something, you know what I mean?"

"I've started to notice that too. Anyway, we've got to get to class. We can worry about this later"

Mystic Grill:

Unfortunately for Chris, Bonnie had dragged him to go and meet the Martin warlocks to inform them on the situation they're in now, since she didn't want to face them alone

The Martins, Jonas and Luka walked into the grill and spotted the twins at a table "If he tries to take my magic, I'm blaming you and killing Stefan" Chris whispered to his sister before standing up as the other two approached the table "I'm glad you came"

"I didn't want to-" Jonas told Chris which he understood as he also didn't want to be their "-but my son made a case to hear you out"

They all sat down as a table of four and Luka spoke first "Bonnie said you both have some information about Elijah"

"Elijah is dead" Chris told them making them look between the twins and at that point Jonas tried to leave but Chris stood up to stop him "Wait. I didn't want to do this either, but we're in this position now so let's make do" This got him to sit back down with him

"We know that Klaus has your daugter" Bonnie said to them "I'm sorry about the way I had to get that information but it's good that we know. We can all work together to get her back"
