3rd Person:

Today Carol Lockwood was organising yet another event. This time was the town famous Masquerade Ball that was put on each year for charity

Stefan and Elena were still trying to pretend that they were on the outs to steer Katherine away so she wouldn't hurt Elena

Caroline was at the Salvatore Boarding House in the basement cellar with her mother who had found out that she was one of the creatures that she had been killing for years after Caroline revealed herself in order to save Stefan and Damon from being killed

Chris and Bonnie on the other hand were at the preparation for the Masquerade Ball where Elena, Stefan and Damon also were. Bonnie, ever since the night of the carnival, was still avoiding Caroline and the rest of the group for what they are

She still hadn't come to terms with the vampire thing. Chris had more selective anger for certain individuals. Elena was a friend. Caroline, even with what she is, was still a friend. Stefan was still a middle factor in his mind only because of the last guy, Damon, who he did not like after everything he had done

Chris still blamed Damon for the death of his Grams

Stefan was speaking to Mason who thought was dead after he revealed them to be vampires to Sheriff Forbes. When Mason walked away he accidentally bumped into Bonnie "Excuse me" He apologised to her then left

Stefan noticed the weird face Bonnie was making to herself and thought to check up on her "What's the matter? You okay?"

"When I touched him, I saw something" Bonnie told him truthfully

"What like a vision?" Stefan asked

Bonnie nodded "I saw Elena. He was kissing her"

Stefan chuckled a little "No, Bonnie, Elena wouldn't kiss-" He then realised what she had seen "You didn't see Elena, you saw, Katherine"

With Bonnie's newfound information about how Katherine and Mason are connected, and since Mason was trying to find an item called The Moonstone, Damon put together that she may also want it

And if Katherine wanted it, then Damon wanted it, since anything Katherine wanted couldn't be a good thing

After Damon had spoke to his younger brother about this fact he then went over to Chris, interrupting the help he was giving to decorate the masquerade ball, and dragged him over with a hand on his arm while Stefan followed behind messaging Elena

Chris had enough so when they finally got to a place where people wouldn't hear them he stood his ground, halting Damon and ripping his arm from his hand "Alright, this is as far as I'm going. What the hell do you want?"

"A favour" Damon said

Chris scoffed in a little chuckled right in his face "Yeah, like I'd ever do something nice when you're involved"

Damon rolled his head with a groan "God your so predictable. That's why I brought him" He said facing Stefan who looked at him back with an unbelievable face

Stefan looked at Chris to explain "You probably know that your sister connected Mason to Katherine meaning we finally have an upper hand on both of them, so could you help us out?"

"If Bonnie discovered this about Mason and Katherine then why are you asking me for help? Go bother her"

"Because she hates me and vampires" Damon said
