34)The Hybrid Deal

Abandoned Witches House,
3rd Person:

Things in Mystic Falls felt different after the funeral, expecially since the problems never seemed to stop. Chris was now on a mission to figure out how to save Damon from being consumed by his werewolf bite

Chris and Stefan sat in the basement of the old witches house where Chris set up a circle of candles around him "I know I said I would try and help but I'm not sure this is the way to do it"

"You've done a séance before right?" Stefan asked

"When we contacted Emily it was Bonnie who did that. Not me"

"Well, if you get in contact then one of the witches may know how to help Damon"

"Let's hope that they actually want to help though" Chris said standing up in the middle of the circle. He closed his eyes and started chanting. Stefan saw all the candles in the room light up, the flames kept dimming and shooting out further

"Chris?" Stefan said getting worried

Chris opened his eyes and it looked like nothing had happened, except that the room had a tint of blue to it and Stefan looked as if he was looking straight through him

A woman walked around from behind Stefan, it was Emily "Why have you come here, Christopher?"

"I'm here to look for help. I need to know if there is a spell that can heal a werewolf bite"

Emily looked at him with a slight pause "No. You know nature ensures a balance to everything"

"That's why there's an unkillable hybrid running around out there right now. I think there is a solution, but because it's Damon you won't allow it"

"He wasn't unkillable. We gave Bonnie the power to destroy him. A power which was not yours to handle" Emily told him

"You were going to get her killed. I was not about to stand around and let that happen"

"I will not give you want you want. Power is too much for you, Chris. You need to stop before you continue down this line"

"You know as well as I do that I'm not going to stop. Stefan needs his brother" Chris told her demandingly

"The same brother who got your Grams to spend the rest of her time without you and your sister"

"It's not my job to enact justice. I'm going to help my friends. Now, tell me how"

Emily stared at Chris harshly and he was pushed back to where Stefan was. Chris grabbed his head and fell to his knees as he felt a sharp pain in his head. Stefan went down with him holding onto his arm "Chris?"

"There's something. But she wouldn't tell me. I did hear whispers though, of a name" Chris told him

"Who?" He asked

"Klaus"

Mystic Falls Town Centre:

Chris and Stefan went to the movie watch where Elena, Jeremy and Caroline were, in the middle of town. Stefan wanted to tell Elena about the situation with Damon being bitten by Tyler Lockwolf

Chris then saw Stefan walking away and jumped up, leaving the others, to catch up with him "And where are you going?"

"To save my brother" He told Chris

"And how are you going to do that?" He asked, already kind of having an idea of what he was going to do

"By following your lead"
