Chris was at the church helping his friends set up for a funeral for the people who got killed in a mysterious explosion at the Pastor's Ranch "Are you okay?" Matt asked Chris who looked to be sulking around "I heard from Jeremy what happened"
As Chris was placing the funeral pages down people to read "Yeah I'll be fine Matt. Just a bit shaken"
"This is a volunteer position. You didn't have to come if you didn't want to" He nicely told Chris
"No, I need to keep myself busy. And it's a nice thing to do I guess, we know who these people are so. Even if they did try to kill our friends" Chris explained to him
"Well only if your sure" Matt said and walked off to do other things. Across the room Chris saw Elena running off holding her stomach and so he chased after her
He saw a bathroom door slam shut and he went over and knocked on it cautiously "Elena, are you good?" He could hear her spilling out what sounded to be her guts. She opened the door a tiny bit and he saw her coveres in blood and it all around her mouth. Chris stepped back a little "Oh my, god, Elena" He hadn't seen her as a vampire properly yet and was disturbed to see her dripping with blood
"It's not what you think" Elena said as thought he thought that she had eaten someone "I can't keep any blood down. It's like I'm having a bad reaction or something" She tried to explain while cleaning up her mouth "Could you get me Damon please?"
"I'm going to guess or something. Do you not want me to get Stefan? Or maybe Caroline" Chris asked suspiciously
"No, could you just... please" Elena pleaded to him
"Fine, just stay in there. I'll get him" Chris shut the door and phoned Damon to bring over some new clothes and some 'good' kind of blood for her to have
A guy, who wasn't Damon, came from down the hall and looked to be wanting to use the bathroom "Is everything okay in there?" He asked Chris
"Yeah" Chris said in suspicion "My friend just spilled something down her dress, she will be out in a few" Chris told him as he stood protectively at the door on guard hoping that Damon would come down quickly
The guy held out his hand "I don't think we've met before. I'm Connor Jordan" Chris eyed his hand with the weird fingerless glove he had on
Chris took his hand to not cause suspicion "Chris" Chris felt that his own hand felt a little weird after touching his glove
"Chris!" Damon shouted and came down the hall behind Connor with a hidden blood bag and a new dress for Elena to wear
"She's in there" Chris told him knocking on the door that Elena was behind
