3rd Person:

After the traumatic events that happened to Bonnie when Damon nearly killed her, Elena and Chris explained and told her about the existence of vampires which explained what occurred that night when she was bitten

Elena also informed the twins that Stefan was skipping town along with Damon as he now had no way to get Katherine back. Chris thought it was a little sad because he started to cozy up to Stefan and not dislike him as much, but Damon... let's just say good riddens

At the school everyone was in the hallway chatting to one another before going to lesson, Caroline and Matt were walking together with one another which made their friends like Tyler start to watch them since those two hanging out together was a weird combination

At the other end of the hallway was Chris and Elena who were both confused as to why they were together "Did I miss something?" Elena asked

"They've been hanging out" Bonnie informed them

"Is that weird or not? I don't even know" Chris asked them since Matt was Elenas ex boyfriend

"She needs someone nice like him" Bonnie said being supportive of Caroline "As opposed to a homicidal vampire like Damon"

"How are you doing with all that?" Elena asked her

"I'm freaked out. Damon attacked me. I could be dead right now" Bonnie replied

"Uh, nuh huh, I wouldn't let that happen. We don't want to know what happens with our magic when we experience a traumatic death. Maybe I could burn down the entire town" Chris told her

"Atleast I would have the biggest memorial ever I guess. But besides that I'm also kind of grateful" Bonnie said

"Grateful is not the word I would use for being nearly eaten alive" Chris said while Elena hummed not understanding her

"I mean to Stefan. He saved my life" Bonnie said as they walked over to their lockers where Elena took off her scarf to put away "Have you seen him?"

"Not since he told me he was leaving. For all I know, he's probably already gone" Elena huffed throwing her bag into the locker

"If he's gone then Damon is. So silver lining" Chris said making Bonnie smack him with her bag "Ouch, what was that for?"

"He wouldn't just leave without atleast saying goodbye" Bonnie said, subtley calling her brother insensitive for the comment that he made

"I was only saying that maybe it's for the best. No Stefan, no Damon, no vampire mess" Chris added onto his previous statement

"What! Yes Damon is evil, but Stefan..." Elena said in a slight huff

"Elena, snap back into reality. What kind of future could you have had with a vampire. He can live forever so your basically a mini snapshot in his life. Plus I don't think vampires can have children? And I know you, Elena, you want kids. So unless you can deal with a life without something you want while simultaneously being 1% of Stefans life. Then him leaving is for the best" Chris explained to her

Elena shut her locker a little too hard for Chris' liking and stormed off away from the twins in a groan. Chris side eye looked to Bonnie who looked at him disapprovingly "Something I said?" Bonnie took her bag in hand and swatted his arm "Ow. You've got to stop doing that"

"No, what you need to do is stop being so insensitive all the time" Bonnie told him

"Sorry not sorry, I can't help but tell her the truth. Rip that band aid off quickly before Stefan did it for her. It's better to know that she isn't going to get anywhere in a supernatural relationship, tell me I'm wrong"
