Mystic Falls Hospital,
3rd Person:

It was night and Chris was at the emergency centre with Elena for Alaric who in this night had been killed, which would usually be fine as he has a magical ring that protects him from supernaturals

Except that this time the Gilbert Ring brought him back to life with his internal bleeding injuries from a knife wound still intact

Elena came out of Alarics hospital room to update Chris on how he is "How's Alaric?" Chris asked her

"Resigned to spending the night in Observation. So long as I promise to change the lock on the house. So how is Bonnie and your mom?"

"They're okay. Whatever came out the coffin gave them a bump on the head but nothing more" Chris informed her then asked "Sadly we don't know what it is yet. How is Caroline?"

"She's holding herself together" Elena told him. While Chris was bothering with the Salvatores and Mikaelsons, Caroline's dad was killed with vampire blood in his system. But unfortunately for her he refused to drink blood and complete his transition and so she lost her dad "The Sheriff is still saying they have no clue on whose behind the attacks"

They both walked out of the hospital onto the carpark. Chris walked Elena to her car while she asked him "How are you doing? I mean with your mom here and then having to babysit the Salvatores? I'm surprised you've kept yourself together"

"Honestly so am I. Being dragged into things all the time. I envy Matt. The biggest problem he has is waking up for his nine to five while our friends are one angry vampire away from their funeral"

They arrived at Elenas car where Chris stood to wait for her to get inside before he left her "Thanks for coming here to check up" Elena said "I really appreciate it"

"Your welcome. Stay safe" Chris waved as she hopped into her car and then drove away

Chris walked over to his car and unlocked the door to get inside. He started the car and reversed out his space to leave but suddenly his car stopped as he thudded into something "Oh my, god. Not right outside the hospital" He jumped quickly out of his car and prayed he didn't injure someone "At least we're outside the emergency room righ-" He walked around his car and no one was there

He then looked around but didn't see anyone. He heard a flash come up behind him to which he quickly turned and used his magic to choke the target and bring them to the ground

After the frightened adrenaline began to settle he finally recognised who he had just took down and immediately stopped the spell "Oh my, god. Kol!" He rushed to bend down and help him up "What are you doing!"

Kol stood up holding his throat as he cleared it with a slight chuckle "I thought it would be more funny. A hospital, night time and all that. But clearly I've learned my lesson"

"Yeah! Don't sneak up on a witch!" Chris warned as he playfully punched Kols shoulder with a reflective chuckle

"It's Chris, isn't it. After being undaggered and dealing with my family I wanted to come and find you. Then I did" Kol told him

Chris thought that he did remember him when Kol noticed him when leaving the Mikaelson Mansion "So you remember me?" Chris asked him with an uncontrollable smile

"Of course I do. You were the only person I had seen in over a century. How could I forget you? Expecially when you said something about how charming I am" He told him with a cocky smirk

Chris' cheeks started to heat up "Yeah, I don't remember that. I think the dagger has messed with your memory" Chris said not wanting to give him the satisfaction of an ego boosting complement. Chris was slowly piecing together that him being so outright and also being a Mikaelson caused him to already come with an uncontrollable ego "Anyway, why are you stalking me in the middle of the night"
