Book 1 of my Bennett Supernatural story... rewritten/updated
This is an updated rewrite of my TVD story, Bennett Witches. So bare with me if they're slower than normal as I will be adding things and making the chapters longer~

The town was setting up for the Night of Illumination event which the Founders of Mystic Falls set up 150 years prior where they turn off all the towns lights and flare up some lanterns as decoration across the streets
Chris and Bonnie were helping with the event, decorating a tree with some lanterns. Chris was standing on a ladder hanging the lanterns on the trees while Bonnie held the ladder so he wouldn't fall off "When you did the spell, did it also get rid of Anna?" Chris asked her
"I wish" Bonnie puffed "All I did was block the magic that was helping Vicki get a physical foothold here. Jeremy's still got a direct line to the other side, and as long as he wants to see Anna and she wants to see him, she's still here"
"We've known Jeremy for a long time but, you need to get rid of him" Chris told her
"Of course you'd say that" Bonnie said
"You know I'm not like that" Chris said coming down off the ladder "I'm only like this when a guy would rather see his ghost girlfriend than his living one, who literally went against spirits to bring him back to life"
"Exactly, I went against the balance of nature when I brought Jeremy back to life, and now I'm paying the consequences"
"No, a consequence would be when you use magic it hurt you even more. Him actively talking to ghosts is a choice. A choice I will never be okay with"
"I'm also a thousand times not okay with it. I just don't know what to do about it"
A blue car then pulled up next to them and they saw it was Damon "Greetings my fellow twin witches. I think you got your voodoo wires all crossed when you got rid of Vicki Donovan"
"What do you mean? Why?" Bonnie asked him
"Because I'm pretty sure I just got spit roasted by Mason Lockwood's ghost"
"And why would you think that?" Chris asked
"Maybe because he chained me to a chair and shoved a hot poker in my chest. Let's just say I'm having déjà vu"

"I don't wanna start having ghost problems. My bump from Vicki is still going down" Chris complained while touching the back of his head
"Yeah, well, I don't have time for a vengeful Lockwood. When I kill someone, they're supposed to stay dead. Whatever you screwed up, fix it" He then slammed the accelerator and drove away quickly
Bonnie looked across the and saw Matt looking at them which made her look at him suspiciously. She walked over to the other side of the road to ask Matt if Vicki was really gone
"I haven't seen Vicki, I swear. I sent her back like you told me to" Matt said
"Are you sure?" Chris asked "Because I don't want another lump"
