Book 1 of my Bennett Supernatural story... rewritten/updated
This is an updated rewrite of my TVD story, Bennett Witches. So bare with me if they're slower than normal as I will be adding things and making the chapters longer~

It was that time of year again. Time for them to go to the Miss Mystic Falls event. Except this time Caroline was organising and hosting it at the Lockwoods house for the town. And when Caroline organises you know she's going to make her friends help
And this one friend who had been forced to help, was a poor broken witch who just wanted to relearn his magic but couldn't when he had a crazy blonde host
Chris was walking around outside with a clipboard in hand that had a list of people and things that needed to be done. Currently he was on the phone with Stefan who informed him that he did not want to attend Miss Mystic Falls this year "What do mean you're not coming? Do I need to remind you about last year? Besides, Caroline will kill you if you don't, and your a member of the founding families so you have to be here"
"Elena and I broke up. So I don't need to be anywhere"
"Do you realise how depressive that sounds?" Chris replied
"I'm not depressed. I just want to rip into someone's artery and feed until I can't breathe anymore"
"That sounds suspiciously like what happened last year. And you know how they went"
"Will you ever let that go?"
"No, you tried to kill me. And Caroline will kill you if you don't show right before she kills me for not sticking to this list!" Chris began to shout
"You sound more stressed than me" Stefan said
"Tell me about it. What's worse than having a nagging Caroline up your arse for a whole day?"
Stefan went silent for a moment before answering Chris' rhetorical question "Elena saying that she has feelings for Damon"

"She what!?" Chris shouted "How? He's Damon and... that's it, he's Damon. Okay, maybe I could shake that head of hers straight, she's clearly hypnotised or something"
"Yeah well, I don't know what good that will do. Elena's right. Being a vampire has changed her"
"Change? That's not a change. A vampire starts eating people not falling for the Damons of the world" Chris turned around and saw Elena coming towards him "Speak of the devil. I need to go but just be careful. Eat slowly and don't rip out again. Or Care will rip out your heart"
"I'll be fine. Bye" Stefan then ended the call so Chris could face Elena who was giving him a tiny smile. Chris was not amused
"What?" Elena asked seeing Chris face
"I was on the phone with Stefan. We need to have a best friend talk"
"He told you that we broke up, didn't he?" Elena asked
