A Few Days Earlier,
Mystic Falls Outskirts:

Previously:

"Bonnie, Elenas in there" Damon said giving her a stern look "After everything we've been through, what could possibly go wrong?" When he said those words a car drove past them down the road towards town, the car then disappeared into thin air as it crossed into the barrier "See, nothing can-"

Suddenly a purple void began to form where the invisible wall was and a broken down car came flying out of it, over Bonnies car and into the field behind them, landing in a flaming ball of fire "Can go wrong?" Bonnie gasped at him in worry

Damon then took the keys out of the car and handed them back to Bonnie "Time to find a different plan then"

"Well, whoever was in that car, lets just say, they smell like barbecue now" Damon explained to Bonnie as he walked back to her after checking out the cars destruction

"That's horrible" Bonnie said with a shocked face "What could even do such a thing? Or who?"

"I did mention the abundance of evil heratics that are now infesting our town. There's an idea" Damon responded

"Well, either way we've got to find out what's gone wrong" Bonnie told him in a worrisome tone

"And how do you suppose we do that?" Damon questioned

The invisible wall to the town began to shimmer a few times as if it was being walked through. Damon and Bonnie looked over and saw someone repeatedly pressing the invisible wall, they looked at one another and Bonnie walked towards the person "Hey! I think you should get back from there" She shouted

The person ignored her and went to touch it again, but Damon vamp sped towards them and grabbed her by the shoulders and stared into her eyes to compel her "You will leave this place and forget about the invisible barrier, then never come back"

The woman stared back at Damon "I will-" She then pushed him off of her "-do no such thing" This startled Damon a little who looked over to Bonnie who had just walked up to them both "Do me a favour and never lay your hand on me, Mr Salvatore. Or you won't like what comes next"

"She knows my name and yet she's testing me" Damon says looking towards Bonnie

"We need more people like her" Bonnie responded to him before turning to the woman "Who are you?"

"I'm Dr Olsen, pleasure to meet you" She held her hand out towards Bonnie who accepted the handshake "I've been hired to investigate this strange phenomenon happening around this town; Mystic Falls"

"So you know what's happening?" Bonnie eagerly asked her

"Not yet-" She said before getting interupted

"Oh great" Damon rolled his eyes "Another supernatural teacher who thinks she knows all, but ultimately knows nothing"

"No one's talking to you, Salvatore" Dr Olsen turned to Bonnie and away from Damon who stood there frozen in shock "But I think we should refrain from touching or going near the invisible barrier for the time being while I get in contact with someone"

Dr Olsen then walked away while pulling out her phone "I already know how your thinking but I think we should listen to her" Bonnie told Damon

"If you know how I feel, why are you even trying to warn me" Damon told her before looking back to the burned up wreckage "Then again, I'd rather not end up like Mr and Mrs sizzlers over there"
