Tanya's POV.

It was morning, and I woke up from my dreadful sleep.

I'm currently in America—I flew here a week ago.

I was prepared with everything, my uniform, books, bags, etc.

It was hard to get up since it was only 5:57 a.m., but I had to leave early, so I had time to explore my new school.

I hope I can make new friends, but it could be hard.

I got up and went to the kitchen and make myself eggs and toast—yes, I can make simple food without burning the whole kitchen down.

I quickly ate them up and went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and wash my face to feel a bit refreshed.

I usually take a shower after coming back from school, but here, people mostly take showers in the morning.

I wondered why, but I dare not say anything about it because people do what they want to, and I am not the kind of person to judge.

I then put on my uniform and headed out with my backpack.

I honestly didn't care about my hair, I just tied it up into a ponytail and kept it like that.

The dress code said nothing about how the hair should look.

I was a bit nervous, as I was waiting for the bus, I thought of the things that could happen.

'What if I read the dress code wrong and get sent back? Or even suspended???' I thought my mind then kept on filling with more 'What ifs'.

Before I knew it, I arrived in front of the school, my new school..

I checked if I got everything and started to think if I forgot anything.

I had my backpack, phone, keys, locker keys, and extra hair ties just in case I lose the one I'm wearing.

I was ready, actually ready.

I dreamt of this moment ever since I was in middle school.

I can do it.

I entered the school and saw a few people, I guess I was very, very early.

I looked at my watch to see that it was 6:57 am, and classes start at 8:00 am.

I had more than an hour, and I wondered why these people came to the school early—probably because they are very passionate about their studies?

Eh.

I was trying to find my locker when I suddenly bumped into someone.

I tripped on the ground because of bumping suddenly.

I looked up and saw a blonde girl who was wearing headphones.

She looked at me with an apologetic look.

She took off her headphones and offered me her hand to help me up.

"I'm so sorry!! I wasn't looking where I was going." She said,

"Oh no, it's fine!" I said while smiling.

I got up and laughed slightly.

The face she made was hilarious.

I couldn't help but stare at her.

I was intriged by how she looked.

The girl caught me staring at her.

"Uhm, am I that attractive to look at?" She said jokingly.

I instantly stopped staring, embarrassed.
