Tanya's POV.

After breakfast, it was time for a group activity.

Making friendship bracelets.

I sat down at a table, a stack of colourful strings and beads in front of me.

Brandon and Claire sat across from me, their own supplies laid out.

Claire was already focused on her bracelet, weaving the strings together in a simple pattern.

Brandon, on the other hand, was distracted, his gaze fixed on something across the room.

I followed his gaze and saw that he was staring at someone.

I turned back to him, raising an eyebrow.

"What are you looking at?" I asked, a knowing smirk plastered on my face.

"Derrick." He simply replied.

I chuckled, amused by his infatuated expression.

"You're still crushing on him, huh?" I teased, grinning at his obvious crush.

Brandon shot me a glare, clearly embarrassed.

"Shh," He hissed.

Claire looked up from her bracelet, a mischievous twinkle in her eyes.

"You seriously need to make a move already," She said, joining in the teasing.

"Yeah, make him a friendship bracelet. It could be a move." Miriam replied.

Brandon's face flushed, clearly flustered by our suggestions.

He glanced across the room at Derrick again, his expression torn between longing and uncertainty.

I chuckled, enjoying his discomfort a little too much.

"Come on, Brandon," I teased. "You can't keep crushing on him forever. Make a move already."

"It's not that simple," Brandon protested, his voice a mix of irritation and embarrassment. "What if he doesn't like me back? I'll make a fool out of myself."

Claire rolled her eyes, clearly exasperated by Brandon's insecurities.

"You won't know unless you try," She pointed out. "And even if he doesn't feel the same, at least you'll know where you stand.

"Yeah, it's better to take a chance than to keep wondering 'what if'," I agreed, trying to encourage him. "You never know, he might feel the same way about you."

Brandon let out a defeated sigh, his expression conflicted.

"I don't know..." He said, his voice hesitant. "What if I make it awkward between us? I don't want to jeopardise our friendship."

I started laughing.

"Now you understand how it felt like when you tried to tell me the same thing and I responded like that..?"

Brandon groaned, burying his face in his hands.

"Yeah, yeah, I get it," He mumbled through his fingers. "I'm a hypocrite, I know."

I couldn't help but chuckle, patting his shoulder comfortingly.

"Hey, at least you acknowledge it," I teased. "But seriously, you should consider what we said. You never know until you try."

Miriam let out a deep breath after finishing her friendship bracelet.

"I'm gonna give it to my girlfriend, hehe.."
