Isaac's POV.

Tanya wasn't back in the cabin, I was starting to get worried since everyone had left, and it was all clear.

I thought maybe she was with Darren, so I went into his cabin to check.

Darren was lying on his bed, staring up at the ceiling.

He looked bored and tired.

"Darren," I said, walking in and shutting the door behind me. "Have you seen Tanya?"

Darren turned to look at me, a puzzled expression on his face.

"No," He replied, sitting up on his bed. "I haven't seen her since everyone left the campfire. Why? Is something wrong?"

I felt a pang of concern.

"I can't find her anywhere. I checked the common room, the cabins, even the cafeteria.."

Darren's expression changed to worry.

"That's weird. It's not like Tanya to disappear without saying anything."

"I know," I said, running a hand through my hair in frustration. "I have a bad feeling about this. I'm going to go look for her."

Darren quickly got up.

"Me too."

"Alright," I nodded. "Let's split up and cover more ground. I'll take the east side, you take the west."

He nodded.

Just as we were about to leave, I saw my sister coming out of the pathway that took us to the forest.

I stopped, seeing my sister come out of the path.

"Hey," I called out, hurrying over to her. "Where have you been?"

She turned to look at me, her eyebrows furrowing.

"I went for a walk," She replied, her voice sounding bored.

"At night? In the middle of the forest?" I questioned, crossing my arms. "Why?"

"Can't I have some time alone?" She retorted, rolling her eyes. "I was just feeling a bit restless."

"But you shouldn't be roaming around the forest alone at night," I protested, some worrying seeping into my tone.

"It's dangerous."

She let out a loud sigh, visibly annoyed.

"I can take care of myself, Isaac. I don't need you to babysit me."

Darren looked suspiciously at Anika.

He was giving me a look that clearly said, 'Tell her to leave.'

I gave Darren a sideways glance, understanding what he meant.

"Anika, could you give us a moment, please?"

She raised an eyebrow at my request.

"Why? What's going on?"

"Nothing, just go back to your cabin. It's dangerous out here." I said, trying to get her out.

Anika let out an annoyed grunt but didn't argue.

"Fine," She snapped, rolling her eyes again. "I'll go back to my cabin. Don't tell me what to do, though."

She turned and stomped off towards her cabin.

I let out a sigh of relief as she left.

Darren looked at me, clearly relieved as well.
