Darren's POV.

Her agreement caught me off guard.

I could hear her nervous tone, but she was willing to leave with me, despite the potential consequences.

I leaned back, my mind racing.

This was unexpected, but I wouldn't let the opportunity slip by.

"Okay," I said, standing up, "Let's get going then."

We walked out of the cafeteria, and the campus together.

The adrenaline was pumping through my veins.

I glanced over at her, admiring her flushed cheeks and nervous demeanour.

"You sure about this?" I asked, making sure she wasn't having second thoughts.

She took a deep breath and nodded.

"Yeah, I'm sure," She replied, her voice more steady this time.

I nodded, feeling satisfied with her answer.

We continued walking, exiting the campus and heading towards the city.

I could feel the tension between us growing with every step.

I glanced at her again, taking in her nervous expression and slightly flushed cheeks.

"You look nervous," I observed.

She looked at me, her eyes meeting mine.

"Of course I'm nervous," She said, her voice a bit shaky, "We're skipping class and going off campus. I've never done anything like this before."

I chuckled at her response, finding her nervousness endearing.

"Don't worry," I reassured her, "I've done stuff like this before. We'll be fine. Just stick close to me, and you'll be fine."

She nodded, her eyes wide and trusting.

It was a strange feeling, having someone's trust like that.

I was used to people doubting me..

But there she was, trusting me wholeheartedly.

I knew it was wrong.

But I couldn't stop the spark of satisfaction I felt knowing that she trusted me.

I led her through the city, taking her to a quiet park.

There weren't many people around, which suited me just fine.

I wanted her alone with me.

I sat down on a bench, motioning for her to sit down next to me.

She hesitated for a moment, a flicker of uncertainty crossing her face.

But she took a deep breath and sat down next to me.

I could feel the tension in the air between us, thick and palpable.

We sat in silence for a moment, the only sound being the rustling of the trees around us.

I turned to look at her, studying her expression.

Her cheeks were tinted pink, either due to the cold air or due to her nerves.

I leaned slightly towards her, closing the distance between us.

I could almost feel the heat radiating from her body.

Her eyes widened as I got closer, and I could see her breath hitch in her throat.

She was trying to maintain her composure, but I could see the way her hands clutched at the edge of the bench, as if holding on for dear life.
