Tanya's POV.

Darren picked up the phone, dialling the room service number, and began ordering our food.

I tried to focus on something else, anything else, but my eyes kept being drawn back to him, watching the movement of his jaw and the way he licked his lips between words.

I needed to do something, to distract myself from the overwhelming need he was stirring up in me.

I discreetly tried to shift my position on the bed, crossing and uncrossing my legs, hoping the movement would help me focus on something other than him.

Darren finished ordering and hung up the phone, turning back to me with a smirk.

"Pizza will be here in about fourteen minutes." He said, setting the menu to the side.

He then leaned back against the headboard, his eyes roaming over me once again.

I nodded.

Quietly, I reached out to him, sitting down on his lap, my arms around his neck.

I felt clingy.

Darren's expression softened when I settled on his lap, his hands automatically going to my hips, holding me in place.

He looked up at me, a small smile playing on his lips, but he didn't say anything.

I snuggled closer, leaning my head against his shoulder, my face nuzzling into his neck.

His scent surrounded me, a mixture of musk and something I couldn't put my finger on, and I wanted to inhale it, to fill my lungs with it.

Darren's arms tightened around me, pulling me even closer, and I felt a rush of affection for him, mixed with that ever-present need.

I pressed my lips to his skin, just below his ear, and felt a shiver go through him.

He tilted his head slightly, giving me better access to his neck, and I took the opportunity to trail my lips down the length of it, feeling his pulse beating rapidly under my touch.

I didn't bother going fast and rough, I just wanted to press soft kisses and savour the moment as much as I could.

Darren's hands caressed my back, moving up and down lazily, his fingers tracing my spine.

He sighed, a soft, content sound, and turned his head slightly to give me more access to his neck.

I continued with my slow and gentle kisses, my lips lingering on his skin for a few seconds before moving on to the next spot.

After a bit, I stopped, moving away just enough to look at him.

His eyes flickered open, and he looked up at me, a lazy, satisfied smile on his face.

"Done already?" He asked, his voice a bit hoarse from the way I had been teasing him.

I shook my head, smiling back.

"No, I just..." I started, but then my gaze trailed down to his lips.

They were slightly parted, and the sight made me want to kiss him, to feel his mouth under mine.

Darren seemed to sense my thoughts, because he reached up and cupped my face in his hands, gently pulling me down towards him.

"Come here, then." He murmured, his eyes darkening with desire.

I let him pull me down, our mouths meeting in a slow, languid kiss.

His lips moved against mine, his tongue tracing the seam of my lips, and I pressed closer, my body moulding against his.
