Darren's POV.

We reached the hotel with a taxi and Isaac bid me bye.

I watched as he walked away, feeling oddly lonely without his presence.

"I'll see you later." He called as he waved back.

"Later." I muttered in response, still watching him go.

I walked into the hotel lobby, and my sprained arm cradled protectively against my chest.

As I entered my room, a wave of exhaustion washed over me.

I was then met with Tanya, who looked worried.

As soon as I closed the door, Tanya rushed over to me, her concern palpable.

"God, are you okay? What did the doctor say?" she demanded, eyeing my sprained wrist.

I gave a weary sigh, trying to find the words to explain. "Yeah, I'm okay... The doctor said it's a moderate sprain. Nothing too serious, but I'll have to wear this stupid cast for a few weeks."

I gestured towards my wrist, which now looked bulkier and more ridiculous than before.

She breathed a sigh of relief, her shoulders sagging slightly. "Thank goodness. I was so worried."

She hovered by my side. "Does it hurt? Do you need anything?"

I shook my head, feeling a little overwhelmed by her motherly instincts. "No, I'm fine. Really. Just need some rest, that's all."

I gave her a small, reassuring smile, trying to ease her worry.

She smiled back, her eyes still filled with worry.

She slowly leaned in to give me a kiss on the cheek.

I couldn't help but blush slightly as her lips brushed against my cheek.

It was a small gesture, but it made me feel.. appreciated. Loved.

"You don't have to worry about me so much," I said, my voice softer now. "I'll be okay, I promise."

"But I'll still take care of you, darling. It's not always that my lovely boyfriend gets such a harsh injury." She gave me another kiss, but on the other cheek this time.

A small laugh escaped my lips. "You're adorable, you know that?"

I wrapped my uninjured hand around her waist, pulling her closer to me.

She snuggled up to me, her head resting on my shoulder.

"And you're a damn idiot for getting hurt in the first place," she muttered playfully, a hint of affection in her voice.

I rolled my eyes, but couldn't help but chuckle. "Hey, it's not like I did it on purpose. Just an unlucky accident, that's all."

"Well, I'll be taking care of you all month."

I let out a melodramatic sigh. "Oh, the torture of being taken care of by my gorgeous girlfriend. How will I ever survive?"

"Cuddles all month." She mentioned, smirking.

I feigned a look of mock horror. "Oh no, cuddles! What a terrible fate."

I chuckled, pulling her closer to me again.

She giggled, her arms wrapping tighter around my waist. "You love my cuddles."

A pause. "And you love me~"

I rolled my eyes playfully, though my heart was swelling with affection.

"Yeah, yeah, I do. You've got me there."
