Darren's POV.

"Ice skating with Isaac?" I questioned.

I didn't think he'd be in Paris, but Tanya said differently.

"Yeah, apparently he's been here for a few days now," Tanya replied.

Tanya was in the kitchen part of the hotel room, preparing something to eat.

I leaned against the counter, crossing my arms over my chest.

"And he's here, why exactly?" I asked, my tone a little sceptical.

"He's on vacation," she said, as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

She turned to look at me, raising an eyebrow.

"What, you think he's up to something?"

I shrugged, "I'm just surprised he's in Paris, that's all."

Isaac wasn't exactly the vacation type.

He was always so serious and dedicated to his ice skating career, I didn't think he'd have the time.

"Well, maybe he just needed a break," Tanya said, her voice light.

She went back to what she was doing, humming softly under her breath.

I thought for a second but then smiled, looking at her while she was cooking..

I watched as she moved around the small kitchenette area, chopping vegetables and stirring something in a pot.

Her focus was so intently on her task, completely unaware of my gaze on her.

Her hair was pulled into a loose bun, a few strands falling out and framing her face.

Her eyes were fixed on the task at hand, her lips slightly pursed in concentration.

She was beautiful...

The more I watched her, the more I wanted to reach out and take her in my arms.

The urge to touch her was becoming almost unbearable.

But I held back, not wanting to disturb her focus.

But still, I couldn't help but hug her from the back, putting my chin on her shoulder.

She was startled for a moment, her eyes wide with surprise.

But as she realised it was me, she relaxed into my embrace, a soft sigh escaping her lips.

"Darren..." she murmured, her voice soft and slightly breathless.

I gently pulled her closer against me, relishing the feeling of her body against mine.

I breathed in the scent of her hair, my nose nuzzling the nape of her neck.

She let out another small sigh, her body almost melting against mine.

Her hands continued their work, but I could feel the subtle shiver that ran down her spine as I moved my lips to the sensitive skin of her neck.

I slowly placed a kiss on her cheek, feeling the urge to smother her with kisses.

Her hands paused for a second, her breath hitching in her throat.

She turned her head slightly, her eyes meeting mine.

"You're distracting me," she whispered, a small smile playing on her lips.

"That's the point," I replied, my voice low and slightly huskier than usual.

I moved my lips to her ear, gently nipping at the lobe. "Pay attention to me, not the food."
