I could feel Fred's fingers dancing across my jawline as I was waking up to a new morning.

I automatically turned my head in his direction, and a small smile spread across my face.

"Guess who slept through the night." He said, and I opened my eyes to look at him.

"She's been sleeping through the night for a couple of weeks now, Freddie." I yawned and turned onto my side, my eyes falling to Theodora who was fast asleep between us.

She was on her back, her head turned towards me and she looked so adorable, breathing heavily.

"I was talking about you." Fred grinned, and I raised my eyebrows before I laughed and shoved him in the shoulder.

"What is she doing in our bed and not her crib," I then asked as I brushed my hand over Theodora's head.

"Well, you might've slept through the night, but Dora certainly didn't. She started crying around one a.m and I calmed her down but every time I went to put her back in her crib, she started crying again... so I went back to bed and held her and we both fell asleep."

I hummed, telling him I was listening, but my eyes were glued to Theodora. I laid my head down next to her and tucked my elbow beneath my head while my free hand rested on her tummy.

"We can't let her sleep in our bed when she's crying." I said. "Eventually she won't know how to sleep in her own room. Remember how we struggled with that when Phoebe was a baby?"

"Yeah I know." Fred sighed and looked down at Theodora. "But look at her. She's so peaceful."

I smiled.

"She's so cute." I said, gently pinching her cheek without waking her up. "Look at those chubby cheeks. People never said that parenthood would make it so difficult for you to not eat your baby."

Fred laughed and leaned across Theodora to press a kiss to my forehead.

"Not this again. When we had Phoebes, you kept going on and on about wanting to eat her."

I laughed, and that seemed to wake Theodora up. She started moving a little, stretching her tiny body.

She made a few noises and then she opened her eyes. She saw me first, and her entire face just lit up.

She reached for me, and I sat up while pulling her with me.

"Hi baby." I smiled. "You looked so peaceful. Did you sleep okay?"

"I swear she loves you more." Fred grinned. "Both girls do."

"Oh c'mon." I laughed while Theodora grabbed for one of my breasts, trying to tug at my shirt. "When we had Phoebe, she was constantly trying to get you to breastfeed her."

Fred snickered and moved up to sit next to me.

"I think she's hungry." He said, as if I didn't already know by the way she was trying to pull my tit through my shirt.

I pulled up the t-shirt I wore which wasn't the most perfect thing to wear when she needed to be fed, but I had slept in it so it would have to do.

"I have to go Christmas shopping today." Fred said, watching me breastfeed our youngest daughter. "Will you be fine here alone?"

"Of course." I smiled at him. "Fred, I'm not fragile. I'm a mother and I can handle a day alone with my two girls."

Since Theodora's birth, he hadn't wanted me to be home alone with both kids at the same time. He was scared I'd get stressed.

It's not that he didn't think I was a good parent. He though the absolute world of me, but it could be hard to have to look after a baby all day while having a five-year-old who also needed your attention.
