I yawned.
I was standing here in front of my family, wearing a wedding dress, and I yawned.
"You're really enthusiastic about this wedding, huh?" Flynn joked, and I glared at him immediately.
"We've been at it for hours." I groaned.
"Well, you're the one saying no to every single dress you try on." Ronan muttered, staring down at his phone.
I turned back around to look in the mirror, shaking my head.
"Let me try the last dress for the day. We can come back tomorrow if that one sucks as well."
After Max and Flora helped me into the next dress, I walked out to show it off to Ronan and Flynn as well.
"Yup. It sucks." I said, looking at myself in the mirror. "I hate the sleeves. I hate the gown. I hate the bust."
"Jesus fucking bridezilla." Flynn said, causing Flora to snicker, but she clamped a hand over her mouth, too afraid to piss me off by laughing.
"It's fine." I shrugged. "Yeah, we'll be back tomorrow. Then Ginny will be free to tag along. Apparently she knows me better than any of you. And myself, apparently."
Twenty minutes later, I stepped through the door to the house, being surprised by Dora who came running towards me.
"Mama!" She shrieked.
I picked her up, scattering kisses all over her face.
"Hi sweetheart. Where's daddy?"
I stepped in further, allowing my siblings to follow me in. They were staying for dinner.
Dora pointed towards the kitchen before reaching out her hands towards Flora.
Flora took her from me while I smiled as Fred walked out from the kitchen.
"Hey. How'd it go?"
"Terribly. Your fiancée is picky." Max said, strolling into the kitchen to see what Fred was cooking.
"I'm not being picky! This is my wedding we're talking about. Everything has to be perfect!"
Fred laughed, slipping an arm around my shoulders as he pressed a kiss to my lips and then another one to my forehead.
"Hey, where's Phoebe and Callum?" I asked, tugging at his collar slightly.
"Both napping. Phoebe fell asleep in front of the television so I carried her to bed, and then I put Cal down for a nap as well."
Fred went on to greet the others while I jogged upstairs to check on the kids. First I checked on Callum who was sleeping peacefully, and then I walked downstairs to Phoebe's bedroom, walking inside.
Toys and stuffed animals scattered the floor, and I sighed. Fred had such a soft spot for her that if she just gave him her best puppy dog eyes, she could get away with not cleaning up her toys.
Though right now, she was asleep and she looked so adorable with her pig tails a mess and her cheek squished against her hand that rested on the pillow.
She had kicked her duvet off, so I walked over and pulled it up, tucking her in.
"Mama?" Her tired voice squeaked, her eyes blinking open.
"Hi baby." I smiled. "Didn't mean to wake you."
"That's okay." She yawned into her pillow before rolling over, turning her back to me.
"I'll let you sleep until dinner, alright?" I asked, but she was already back asleep.
The next day, we returned to the shop, having booked another appointment. This time Ginny was able to come with.
