Chapter 10 OPERATION COAST RIPPER
Wolf: Operation Coast Ripper!
Ohio: That is a terrible name.
Wolf: What!
Ohio: It sounds like your ready to destroy the coastlines we find.
Wolf: But aren't we trying to take back ports on the coastline?
Ohio: Exactly take back, not destroy.
Wolf: Well aren't we gonna destroy the sirens there?
Ohio: *Sigh* Fair enough. I guess operation Coast Ripper is a go.
Wolf: YES.
Ohio and Wolf talk for a while as the battleship steams on ahead to the first coastal base that has been taken over by the Sirens.

They reach the area where they could finally see the Coastal base. The base used to serve as a place like a lighthouse but also be used to patrol the waters around the earlier stages of the war. But given how bad it has become, the forces had to retreat giving the Sirens a perfect place to set up and fortify. If they managed to take over it, they could station troops and other forces to improve recon and show that they still have a fighting chance to boost morale.
Ohio does a scan of the fort and could see there was not a lot of Sirens to deal so with the go ahead from Ohio Wolf holds his hand out and activates his rigging. He unsheathes the sword with the runes glowing in an orange hue. On the count of three Wolf gets in a position where he could go full speed ahead. As soon as they said go the thrusters light up orange and propel Wolf forward.
He begins to advance towards the base at full speed. The Sirens notice the guy charging towards the base and begin to fire at him. He evades the shots and answers in kind by firing his main guns causing some of the Siren ships to explode. Wolf begins firing his secondaries to supress fire on the Sirens.
Wolf: This is fun!
Ohio: It's like shooting fish in a barrel.
Wolf: How many Sirens are left?
Ohio: Scanning...... 40 left.
Wolf: Alright time to give the sword a try.
Wolf could see the drones flying towards him ready to shoot him, He propels himself out the water and swings his sword in a cart wheel watching the flames burn behind the sword blade slicing the drones like butter. Wolf swings the sword around hitting ship and drone alike. Wolf sees a missile come towards him in the air which he shoots with his main guns landing back on the water.
Ohio points out that the Sirens have turrets set up on the towers of the base to which Wolf gets some distance between himself and the base. Ohio wasn't sure what Wolf was planning but he watches him angle the barrels upwards to which Ohio finally got the drill. As the turrets angle the best they could Wolf commanded it to fire as a plume of smoke and fire come out of Turrets A,B and D into the air. A few seconds later a whirling noise can be heard in the air and loud explosions hit the towers.
They scan the area one last time to detect only a few stragglers left inside the Coastal fort. He speeds to the entrance to be greeted by a few siren drones that wanted to turn him to ash, He swings his sword at the first one while firing his rifle on the second one turning it into scrap metal.
Ohio: Annnd that's the last of them.
Wolf: Well that was a work out and a half, lets see what the command office has inside.
