Chapter 73 TROUBLING WATERS

The coastal fort guards sit in the office room playing a game of a lovely card game as one begins to take 16 cards from the deck in a fit of frustration with laughter coming from the other guards. However for a couple of the people stationed there they were on close watch for any Siren Activity. If they missed one single second those Sirens will get an idea and attack. Thanks to Wolf and the other efforts of Azur lane the Sirens attacks have been less often due to the high destruction rates that were previously seen at the start of the conflict. 

It was like the war was finally turning for everyone sparking that little ray of hope that they had held onto for so long in hopes of a better tomorrow with the ending drawing so near. There was still a lot to do but they knew that once Wolf came back all hell would break loose on the Sirens but with new Additions of the new powerful warships it won't just be Wolf driving them out. It was like old times with his invincible squad but it previously lived on glass supports with one after the other shattering with every Operation.

The Hunters, The Sirens, The Ferri and Dar took so much from the world without having to pay a single shred of their own blood but Wolf and the forces showed them the reality and their eventual plan the door. However right now they needed resources and fighting strength but as of now the guards wait in peace but that would all change as a yell would be heard from the top of the radio tower.

???: INCOMING SHIP 10'OClock!

???: A Ship in these waters!? Friendly or enemy!?

???: I Don't know but it's severely damaged and heading this way for a... it's going to ram the island

???: Light up the area!

The Search lights turn slowly to the ships position as they could see it in full view. It was a Sakura ship with two missing turrets and a damaged bow as it lurches towards the land. The others prepare their weapons and main guns of the fort that turn slowly to the damaged vessel. The ship does not slow down or signal as it runs itself aground breaking the bow in the process as the soldiers seek cover as the ship hits the front side of the wall knocking a few bricks over. 

Smoke, Dust and fire break out as they rush to action to combat the threat. But before they could even reach the boat they watch a girl exit the bridge and crash down to the sand with a thud, One of the soldiers stowed their weapon away to check on her. He realised it was Kirishima as he looks to the others.

???: It's Kirishima! Fetch the medics now and get a stretcher!

???: Sir but isn't she an enemy?

???: Yes but there have been no engagements with Azur Lane in this area or around the areas around. Something is not right I can feel it. Get a line to command and speak to Commander Anders.

???: At this time of night!? It's like almost 1 am the commande-

???: Go and do it!

POV Bismarck

It was peaceful as Anders snoozed away in the commanders office at his desk as Bismarck rests on the couch. She was going to carry him to his bed but others and possibly him would of found it out of place and wired so she decides to just cover him with a blanket and head off to sleep herself. It has a been a coupe rough nights but when she's with Anders she feels a warm feeling in her chest that she just couldn't describe that made her feel comfortable around Azur lane. 

So far the Iron Blood girls had joined the ranks quite well however some were at odds with each other like Gangut and Eugen who were doing a drinking contest in the bar before with Evans hosting the drinking contest event only for Eugen and Gangut to lose on the same amount of drinks leading to no winners. While the others helped with maintenance and repairs around the base things were working in much better order now that they are hear.
