Chapter 41 MORE QUESTIONS THAN ANSWERS II

The sound of the teams footsteps echo through the decrepit hall as the flashlights illuminate the darkness that they explore. Most of them have a lot of questions and not enough answers, as they roam the halls the more questions begin to flood their mind. Ridge rubs his eyes as he and the rest try to track where the enemy went but they wouldn't have to go to far to find them.

A voice could be heard talking to another discussing another failure in the testing facility. However the other one was confident that they had managed to find something that the others hadn't been able to get their hands on at all. But the conversation goes back and forth to the point that one of them begins to admit that what they have done has been one of the most inhumane things they have done.

However the other one didn't care what the other thought about it all since to him they were just as replaceable as the rest. he could throw them out the door or use them for the experiment if they had to. Anything to accelerate the research was the only goal that lab tech had in mind but to the others they could feel a boiling anger inside of them that they wanted to dispatch them right now but they hold the thought.

It makes the team sick to their core.... the experiments that they have done to these peoples have gone too far and has killed far too many.... it has to end but they know if they jump and attack now they will lose their opportunity to get answers but by the sounds that the enemy make as they echo through the halls they don't even know either.

They wanted to go in and take them out but to Matthews he wanted them to continue spilling the beans about it all without them having to move a muscle. The two worry that if they do not get results soon then Dar would take them out personally but they begin to say something so sickening that it wanted to make Ridge run out there and give them a fight for a lifetime. It all made sense now... the only reason Dar was trying to not heal the sister of Ridge was because he was going to use her as a test subject herself.

The thought of seeing his sister in a body bag enraged him to the point he prepares to hop the corner and take the shot. However AN calms him down signalling to him that they will pay just give it some time. However they begin to talk about the recent events at the combined forces base with one being that Matchstick had died to the shock of the other scientist. However they were not sure who killed him.

The first idea they had was that it might of been the Snow Wolf that leads to Ridge sending hand signals to the others in confusion on who this snow wolf is and as he does so AN sends hand signals back. 

AN-94: Snow Wolf is AK's old nickname though don't bring it up with her cause she doesn't like to be called that anymore.

Ridge: I mean it's pairing you know a Wolf and a Snow Wolf like a kind of Ying and Yang.

AN-94: Now that you mention it your not wrong.

???: How about that Ohio guy?

???: Ohio? like the ship Ohio?

???: Yeah I've heard that the Sirens and the Crimson Axis have been having a hard time against this supposed ship boy.

???: Ship boy you say? do you think he was responsible for the fortress being taken over?

???: Maybe but there have been reports saying that the Iris Libre and Vichya Dominion have joined up and abandoned the being neutral and in the Crimson Axis.

The team hears those words which put a smile on their face, Since that means Wolf and the team were successful at convincing them and making them join up again. Matthew gives a small smirk and hand signals to Ridge. He actually had done it fuelling the teams motivation but they begin to hear the juice as the name Pyrus appears in the talk. Pyrus that name rings a bell to a certain someone which then everything clicks together in Ridges mind.
