Chapter 96 THE SOLAR WAR III

The crack of dawn approaches as the three push towards their main objective of the day. They needed to extract the data from the vault in hopes that it might provide them with vital information where they might show up to fight again. From what Wolf knew at this moment was that most places they taken for themselves have been overrun by SOLAR including the mine. They needed those resources now back under the hands of Dars forces.

All that progress fell in front of them in hours, Wolf hated that people kept getting in the way to restoring the world as it was before and tried to use the words end for justification to start a whole knew age of conquering. Wolf was not going to let them win even if it costed him everything he had including his life if he had to pledge it. He was never going to watch the Ferri rip through towns and killing the ones that he held dear. They would pay for every battle.

 Like a never ending flame burning brighter than ever before he wanted to make sure that they could live as people once again and not soldiers. The sound of gunfire including artillery could be heard in the distance being signs of other troops scattered around the place giving it their all. For the Base Wolf was waiting till they deployed some of the others around the place to help with the fight. However if they didn't arrive Wolf was still fully capable with crushing the enemy.

For O-H he wished that it didn't have to end like this and to his own shock he couldn't see the end to human greed, like a poison it lingers and like a treat they always wanted more of it. O-H was happy that he could finally provide assistance to Wolf with fighting than just info hacking and info storing. He missed the teamwork they shared when they fought against the Sirens was a feeling he could never get enough off nor could Wolf. 

For Fives and Cali they watch Wolf charge towards the back entrance of the SOLAR base as it came into view as they run behind him catching up to his pace with the footsteps of theirs getting faster and faster but not fast enough that they couldn't keep up as Wolf paced himself this time. They get behind some cover and take a look at what they were dealing with and too their surprise it was a lot less defended than anticipated.

With that in mind the three jump the barrier splitting up with Cali deploying her holograms as a distraction and Fives flanking them so Wolf could stab through the dolls from their backs instead. It was an effective tactic that caused both robots to collapse in a blink of the eye as Wolf kicked the door in. Like a swat team they sweep the hallway and the rooms around it to make sure the coast was clear.

Wolf: Fives see anything?

Fives: Nothing yet Wolf but I'll tell you if I see something.

Cali: So far so good.

Wolf: Trust me it won't be the end of them yet.

O-H: Good thinking since more are coming, they know your hear.... we can destroy this place if we want to.

Wolf: Not yet... we can rig it with explosives instead. I don't sense any prisoners in here just a bunch of dolls... but first the data.

Cali: You mean these guys?

Wolf: Yeah your probably right!

The three slide towards a flipped over locker and vending machine as three dolls march towards their position letting their bullets rip at them. The sparks and the noises disorient Fives but Cali and Wolf activate their EMP jammers knocking the robots offline making it easy to slice them half making sure they don't rise again as Fives jumps over slamming her knife into the robots head but she noticed that her knife wasn't long enough.
