Chapter 36 QUESTIONS AND DECISIONS

Wolf leaps over to Davis's boat with a thud and does a roll to soften the fall. What he hadn't realised was that he just jumped a ravine level gap that he luckily didn't look down to or he wouldn't be enjoying it at all. He remembers that Mainz should be in the medical bay of Davis's boat just like Cleveland.

He walks across the deck and sees Iris girls playing on it while some are just sitting and talking. At this point Davis's boat is like a community unlike the rest of the teams boat with people enjoying the campfire and drinks. Wolf opens the bulkhead door and enters inside the complex.

He goes down the stair case to level 3 of the Aircraft Carrier and walks past the cafeteria area towards the medical room. From a distance he could see the light shining through the doorway where the medical room was and could hear talking inside the room.

???: I don't even know what happened one minute I was there and then now I'm here.

???: Your telling me you don't even remember a single bit of attacking us or Wolf's team?

???: No and Wolf that's a familiar name.

???: So Mainz who did this to you?

The voices get louder and louder the closer Wolf got to the room till he reached the doorway of the room to see Mainz sitting on the medical bed with Cleveland next to her looking at her as Mainz looks at her. On the left and right of the doorway he could see two Iris girls guarding the room. They look to the doorway and jump back with surprise with Mainz and Cleveland shooting their heads to the doorway as they see Wolf peak through.

Jeanne: You scared us there Wolf..... I thought you were an enemy.

Wolf: Ah no really depends I guess. I see your feeling better now Jeanne.

Jeanne: Thanks to you guys for that..... I heard that we kind of retreated from the Vichya Dominion so can you explain to me what happened there?

Cleveland cuts in

Cleveland: Um Captain can I also hear what happened?

Wolf: Yeah it might be better to explain what happened there so you guys can be caught up to speed.

Wolf walks to one of the empty beds and takes a seat on it taking his sword off his back and places it on the bedside. The girls could see that Wolf's sword had taken a bit of a beating requiring a bit of a makeover but their attention shifts back to Wolf who tells them all about what had happened in the Vichya Dominion. It was surprising news for the Iris girls but for Cleveland she continued to listen.

Jeanne was surprised with how Wolf stood toe to toe against of Alsace and still had enough energy to send him packing, however the Iris girls were a bit suspicious of Wolf after arguing with Richelieu last night. He didn't make a very good display of himself in their eyes with them thinking of him as nothing more than a stubborn man with no manners but to Cleveland she wasn't surprised that the two had butted heads on certain topics. Jeanne wanted to know why Wolf decided to but heads with their leader since she had been cranky about it for the whole day.

Wolf crosses his arms with furred eyebrows stating that she was getting on his nerve from what she was saying but before he could continue Mainz would but in wanting to know what actually happened to her yesterday. At first she began to panic thinking she had become a prisoner of war but Wolf calms her down with his hands in front of her telling her that they would not hurt her promising her that if they do he will intervene.
