Chapter 62: BRIGHTER BEGINNINGS

The sound of the bow crashes into the water with a lurch with creaking metal straining to hold the weight. It creaks back and forth as the ship rises out of the water. Water splashes on deck covering their sight not that they could see much due to the rain. The team had been passing through the storm at reduced speeds to reach the Sardegna Empire.

 They were given info that there was a Sardegna girl spotted along the coast further north but it was only that rumours, No one knew if it was actually one of them or another ship girl passing by. Wolf was trying to decide who he was going to bring on the venture but decided to stick with the team he's got. They didn't have time to mix and match when innocent lives were on the line. But the question of Innocent and friendly is another can of worms that they had zero idea of.

For Zuikaku and Shoukaku it was the first time the two had sailed in storms like this hoping their aircraft carriers don't break apart mid sail but the most afraid one was the cruisers. The waves to them looked far bigger than what Wolf, KGV could see. A spotlight breaks through the waves as it looks around the place. Swiftsure surprisingly wasn't too nervous of the situation as she catches up with AK and BP's boat.

 Swiftsure: No enemies yet captain.

Cleveland: How can you be spotting at a time like this!? 

Swiftsure: Cleveland you have a radar, use it.

Cleveland: Oh....

Helena: *giggles*

Cleveland watches Wolfs boat crash into the water as a stream of water shoots upward and onto the turrets at the front. They were moving around looking for a target to shoot but as Cleveland sorta said the place was quiet of enemies but not from noise. The crackle of thunder crashes near them booming like an explosion above lighting the sky. It was their streak of luck as the shadows of flying objects could be seen above.

Swiftsure alerts the rest of drones coming as the AA roars to life creating black plumes in the air. there wasn't many of them so Wolf halted the two crane sisters from launching anything. His multi purpose AA and missiles handled his bunch as Helena lands a few clean shots at them sending them spiralling to the ocean. The team does a short celebration as Wolf looks at his map and navigation controls.

They have been sailing for hours on end and the storm has still not let up belting them with mother natures wraith. He checks the heading on where they were going and calculating the estimated time. Davis team was on a different mission with attacking some coastal forts back just like Wolf did. 

Wolf: Here's to hoping Davis team is successful.

O-H: What do you think he's going to fail?

Wolf: No I don't think he will but I just hope they don't get engulfed by the Sirens. 

O-H: He's got Midway so trust me he will be fine and Enterprise is with him.

Wolf: That's another reason I'm worried. 

O-H: She's been stable for now but she is being closely monitored.

Wolf: Alright then... if you say so.

After the incident with Enterprise almost killing Ayanami, Javelin and Laffey Wolf was worried that it could happen again and with him not being there could be disastrous. Enterprise knew in the back of her mind that her power could kill someone at it's own will which is why she has been holding back for a while. Enterprise also decided that she wanted to be a shut-in until Belfast decided that she need some sunlight.
